Why Did He?

Addison was sat in Physics class next to Seth as usual, they had a free period right now since Mr. Calaway was on paternity leave

Seth had his fingers interlocked with Addison's, just playing with them while she hummed

"So the game's tonight, you're coming right?" He asked and Addison smiled and tucked a strand of blonde hair behind Seth's ear amidst the darker hairs

"Of course I'll be there." She replied and Seth flourished, he was blushing

After class, Addison was by her locker, fidgeting with her lyric sheet and she took it up, going into the cafeteria where she'd be meeting Dean since they needed to work on their Biology project still

Addison would say that she and Dean were on better terms, they weren't exactly friends but they were getting along.

"So I'll see you after English," Seth said as they stood outside the lunch room and Addison nodded, Seth leaned in and kissed her cheek and smiled at her before he strode off to room 12

As Addison stepped into the lunch room, she wondered if Seth still had friends outside of her, he was with her all the time so where was the room for the other friends?

She saw Dean sat at a table and she bit her lip hard, trying not to cry. There was her ex bestfriend in black jeans and the sweatshirt she had given him, hair slicked back and munching on a granola bar and reading from his biology text book

She took a moment to compose herself before she walked over and sat down, Dean looked up at the intrusion, ready to tell someone of, but as he looked up and recognized just who the intruder was, his eyes lit up

"Hi," he greeted with a wide smile that made his dimples pop

"Hey," she replied with a smaller smile but, it was there.

The thing about their school was when they had a free or had a project or something to work on, the lunch room doubled as a classroom

Randy and Dean were friends now, so when Randy came in, he patted Dean on the shoulder and reminded him about football practice and went to sit by his partner

Addison and Dean were laughing at something Addison saw in the textbook when Dolph Ziggler walked in

Now Dolph wasn't necessarily a bad guy, he just had a big mouth that got him in alot of trouble and that's exactly what happened

"Damn, first Rollins now Ambrose, wow she's such a slut," he commented to his 'friend' Summer Rae

Addison didn't even have time to blink before Dean growled and stood up, fisting Ziggler's stupid sparkly shirt in his hands and getting in his face

"You wanna fucking say that again?" Dean snarled lowly and Ziggler raised his hands in defense

"Chill man! Chill! You got lucky, I heard she sucks dick like a champ," he said winking at Dean whose blue eyes grew incredibly darker as the bell rang and Dean had football practice now but it didn't look like he was giving Ziggler any ease up

Students were filing out around them but Addison was frozen in her spot at Ziggler's words and Dean's reaction

"Who the fuck told you that?" Dean asked, angrier than he'd been a few minutes prior

"Randy," he replied and that's when Dean lost it

He flung Ziggler's shirt out of his hand so hard that Ziggler fell on his ass and he looked up at a panting Dean in shock

"Fucking Orton." Dean growled and turned on his heel towards the locker room

"Dean wait!" Addison called after him, quickly picking up her book and Dean's and running after him

Dean was fast though, fuelled purely by adrenaline and anger as he marched into the locker room and crossed it, immediately pushing Randy against the lockers and when he remembered this was the same position Randy had him in a few months ago and Addison had stood up for him, he grew angrier and that was a bad combination

"You going around telling people Addison sucked your dick?" Dean asked, feeling his body grow hot

As a symptom of his aspergers, he had mild schizophrenia. His other personality was someone entirely after blood and just violent as all hell, a dirty player and a 'street dog'

Dean had named him 'Moxley' or simply 'Mox' and at this moment, he could feel Mox surfacing and that was worse for Randy

"First of all, she would never settle for you, you're a sleazy, disgusting piece of shit," Dean slurred

"And second of all, don't fucking call her name in your fucking mouth again else I'll chop your crusty dick off and stick it up your ass," he continued

"You're just mad because she's been spreading her legs for Rollins and not you," Randy smirked

And that was it. Dean snapped, he drew back and punched Randy square in the mouth, then jumping on him, punching him wildly while he tried to block

Addison had been by the door throughout the altercation but when Dean reacted, she gasped and quickly ran over and tried to separate them along with the guys in the locker room, only being Balor and Reigns

"Dean! Dean stop!" She called when she saw Randy's nose bleeding

Dean looked at her and his face softened, he reached over to touch her face and Randy capitalized and flipped them over

He reigned hits on Dean who was blocking better than Randy had

Reigns had finally thrown Randy away from Dean and Addison quickly helped Dean up as Roman took Randy outside

"You okay?" She asked and Dean needed to calm down because he could still feel Mox's energy raging inside him

He turned his head and spat out blood and turned to Addison and nodded

"Thank you for sticking up for me," she said and he raised his hand snd gently traced her cheek

They were sitting on the floor in the locker room and Addison could feel the tension in the room

Dean wiped his mouth with the back of his hand as Mox's energy dropped and he pulled Addison in for a kiss

She was hesitant at first but she began kissing back, the taste of Dean's blood on their lips was not unpleasant

When they pulled back, she realized Dean's knuckles were split and she told him to stay there while she got a towel

She walked to the nurse's room shakily, what an eventful morning. She didn't know what anything was anymore. Why did Dean stand up for her when she got called a slut? Wasn't he the one who said she was only good for spreading her legs for Seth? Why now?

Anyway, she couldn't dwell on it too much. She still needed to get through the rest of the day and then head back home to get dressed and get Seth's varsity jacket for the game
