Dean was just laying on the bed in Addison's room while she sat at the piano
He watched her get her music sheets in order and then she smiled at him
"How you doing baby?" She asked and he smiled back
"Every minute we're together, I'm perfectly fine." He replied with a smile and she blew him a kiss
"I wrote a new song," she mentioned and Dean tilted his head
"Can I hear it?" He asked and she smiled and nodded
"What's it about babe?" He then asked and Addison looked down at where her hands were on the piano keys
"My mom." She said quietly and Dean felt the room get considerably cooler as Addison's sorrow filled it
"Play it baby," Dean confirmed and watched as Addison turned back to the piano and began striking the keys

"It's been a minute since I called you, just to hear the answer phone, yeah, I know that you won't get this, but I'll leave a message so I'm not alone,"
Dean closed his eyes and focused on the way Addison's voice floated through the room, and he focused on the words, how sad they were
"This morning I woke up still dreaming, with memories playing through my head, you'll never know how much I miss you, the day that they took you, I wish it was me instead,"
Dean frowned at the last line, thinking Addison wanted to be in her mother's place instead? That broke Dean's heart

The song was insanely beautiful, Addison's words and the tune were perfect together and made Dean feel the same emotion that she was

Addison felt her eyes filling with tears, as she closed them and continued, she made her voice a little lower
