Past The Point Of Fixing

Addison was twirling her pencil while trying to figure out the question in front of her, she had a calculus exam in about ten minutes so she was getting some practice

She looked up for a split second and her jaw dropped, Seth had just walked into the room, but that wasn't what had her jaw dropped, he walked in with his arm around Dean's shoulders, two of them laughing and Addison was actually in shock. Since when were the two of them best friends?

Seth made eye contact with her and smiled, she quickly looked back into her book and Seth frowned and told Dean something and then Seth looked at her and began to walk over to her, she felt her heart sink

"Hey," Seth said as he stopped next to her and she smiled at him, she could tell that Dean was staring at them

"Hey Seth," she replied

"I think you should talk to him," Seth told her and she sighed and didn't reply

"Okay look, meet me on the field before practice, I need to tell you some stuff," Seth told her and she opened her mouth

"Look Adds, you need to hear this okay? You won't be wasting your time, I promise," he said and she was gonna tell him no but then-

"Please," Seth said in a small voice, widening his already brown eyes and pouted his bottom lip then he blinked very quickly and Addison's heart sank

"Okay fine." She agreed slamming her locker door before she pointed a finger at Seth

"I'm making this clear from now. I'm doing this for you-" then she looked at Dean who was obviously watching them but trying to be discreet. Keyword? Trying.

"Not him." Addison added unable to keep the bitterness out of her tone

"That's cool, completely cool," Seth said with a big smile and Addison rolled her eyes and left for her class

Seth smiled triumphantly and went back over to Dean whose anxiety was crawling under his skin

"What did she say?" Dean asked, blue eyes wide, practically bouncing on his toes

"Relax Fido, I got her to agree to talk to me before practice, I'm gonna tell her exactly what happened, then I'm gonna try to make her remember the type of person Renee is, evil, conniving," Seth shuddered

"Then I'm gonna remind her how good of a guy you are," Seth said smiling wide, this was a good idea.

"Thanks man Seth, I dunno how to repay you," Dean said and they fist bumped

Seth adjusted his shoulder pad as he walked onto the field, it was pinching his shoulder and he was confused as to how that could be possible

He had seen Addison talking to that wannabe punk kid Corey Graves earlier and she nodded when she saw him, so she should be out here any moment now. He slid off his hair tie from his wrist and bunched his hair into a bun

He saw the other guys already out there on the field, could see Roman jogging, John doing pushups and Randy doing sit ups. Dean was in detention for accidentally spilling some hydrochloric acid in Chemistry

"Hey Seth!" He heard and turned to see Addison jogging over to him and he smiled and waved

"Hey Adds, you uh, wanna sit on the bleachers?" Seth asked and she nodded and followed him up, the sat real close to the back and Seth took a breath before he looked into Addison's beautiful eyes, into the eyes he fell in love with but he shook his head, this was about Dean.

"Renee is an evil hussy," Seth began and Addison rolled her eyes

"I was hoping this wasn't about me and Dean," she said in a sigh

"Adds, Dean loves you alot and I know that. You can't throw everything you have with him away just because Renee is a master manipulator. That's just crazy." Seth explained

"So what am I supposed to believe Seth? That Renee manipulated Dean to kiss her? What did she do? Hypnotize him?" Addison said, annoyed and Seth sighed

"No but-"

"But nothing Seth. Dean hurt me. He cheated on me, he kissed her Seth, I saw it." She replied, squinting with disdain, turning off to walk away

"You don't know anything Addison," Seth replied sadly and Addison angrily turned around and stormed back over

"I don't know anything? I don't know anything? Let me tell you what I do know Seth." Addison said, sticking her  finger against his chest

"What I do know is that I trusted Dean. I trusted him with my heart Seth, a heart that's been broken for as long as I can remember. I took a chance on not only him, but myself. I loved Dean more than anything in this world. He made me care about him-" she paused as tears filled her eyes

"I thought about him every minute of every day, I loved him like I've never loved anyone else. He made me happy, he gave me hope that someone could love me. That I was worth it to him. That I could have been someone important to someone as perfect as I thought he was." She said and Seth frowned

"I loved him Seth. I closed my eyes and I could have seen a future with him. Then what happens?" She asked

"I gave him all my love and what does he do? He kisses Renee."

"He kisses her and rips out my heart. I got nothing left," Addison shrugged while the tears were pouring down her cheeks then she sniffled and forced a smile

"Thanks for trying Seth, but Dean and I?" She said and Seth grimaced, this wasn't gonna be good

"We're past the point of fixing." She finished with a shrug

"I gotta get ready for music class, I'll see you around," she told him and he nodded sadly as she walked off

Seth ran a hand through his long loosed hair and he sadly looked over and met blue eyes that were hiding behind a locker

Seth walked over and Dean stood up and met him half way

"I'm sorry man," Seth said and Dean shrugged and huffed a bitter laugh

"Hey it's alright. She's right. I'm the piece of shit that hurt her you know? I don't deserve her," Dean said, hand behind his neck, he shook his head rigidly

"We really can't be fixed," Dean shrugged but then he looked at Seth

"But I'll be damned if I give up on us." Dean said, determined and Seth smiled and nodded

"Anything you need, I'm here," Seth told him and Dean thanked him and started listing everything that he needed, Seth taking a mental note and nodding, this was an amazing plan. Dean knew it. He needed to get his girl back, any means necessary.
