annabeth POV: we all walk into the Athena cabin
"guys this is ally our sister" I announce to all the people in the cabin.
"hi" says ally in a small voice
"okay then ally, this is your bed" I say leading ally to her bunk. ally sits on the edge and smiles when suddenly a large SPIDER crawls out from under her bed. everyone started screaming and panicking
Percy POV: I was waiting outside the Athena cabin for annabeth when I heard screaming. I ran in expecting a monster and saw a spider crawling around the cabin. I walk over and step on it and all the Athena kids sign in relief and go back to what they were doing a few seconds before the spider attack. I walk out grinning and I bump into Chiron
"oh hi Chiron didn't see ya there sorry"
"that's okay. so tomorrow everyone is leaving camp until next summer. how does it feel?"
"uhhhhhh"
"I'll get back to you on that"
he leaves and I turn around to see annabeth standing behind me, crying "hey its alright. we can always IM each other right?"
"I guess" annabeth replies
"don't cry it'll be okay" I say hugging her tight. annabeth hugs me back and smiles
"I'm going to miss you seaweed brain"
"I'll miss you too wise girl"
we pull away and walk back to our own cabins. tomorrow will be the last time I see annabeth for a whole year.
