annabeth POV: the next morning I hear a knock at the door. I open it and see Chiron standing there

"I have decided to send Emma and nico on the quest with you. the others are ready and I can see you are too so could you please notify Emma for me?" he says and leaves before I can say anything I walk over to Emma's bunk and shake her shoulder gently

"Emma wake up. you're going on a quest come on sleepy head" she blinks a few times then sits up

"I'm going on a quest?! cool!..... one more thing. how did I get here last night? the last thing I remember is that I was out walking with nico"

"you fell asleep and nico carried you here"

"oh. okay"

"so how was your walk?"

"nico asked me to be his girlfriend"

"awwww. what did you say?"

"I said yes"

"awwww!"

"okay then let's go on that quest then!!" Emma says enthusiastically

"okay then eager beaver!" I joke. Emma hops out of bed and runs to get dressed.

Emma POV: yes! first quest. so much to think about! what if one of us gets hurt? or worse..... killed? (cue that dramatic dun dun dunnnnn thingy from some movies)

ehhh no need to worry yet. I run outside and straight into annabeth

"oops sorry!"

"its okay you're probably just really excited"

"yeah I am!" I say happily

"well we don't leave for a while so let's just relax"

"okay. who else is going?"

"well there's me, you, Percy, grover, Clarisse and nico"

"great!"

annabeth POV:

well here we go. off on a quest to retrieve the golden fleece....... again  I look around at the others. Grover who's talking to Clarisse, nico who's holding Emma's hand and Percy who's holding my hand.

"so you guys ready to go?" I ask

"all set wise girl"-Percy

"yes"-Grover

"yes"-Clarisse

"yes"-nico

"yeah!"-Emma

"then let's go!"
