Ch.1 The Death Game Aincrad

I sat in my room setting up my NerveGear as the news played on my computer.

Reporter:Hi there! Time for this week's MMO Stream. You saw a promo of today's featured game. And this is what last week's launch day looked like.

Multiple images popped up showing people waiting outside their local gamestore.

Reporter: Can you guess what everyone's waiting in line for? That's right, Sword Art Online!

"Y/N, is everything set up?"

I looked up and the door opened as I saw my mother and father.

Y/N: Yeah looks like everything is all set up.

Mom: That's great. Don't stay up too late okay? Be sure to logout in time for dinner.

Y/N: I will.

Dad: Have fun kiddo! Don't go too crazy in there without me.

Y/N: No promises.

My mother chuckled as my parents left my room. I turned my computer off and laid down on my bed. I slowly placed the NerveGear on my head and closed my eyes.

Y/N:Link Start.

I felt like I was floating until I could my feet on something. I opened my eyes and saw myself in the Town of Beginnings. I was a beta tester so I already knew my way around. I immediately took the starter quests and made my way to my farming spots.

Maverick:Sweet! Level up!

I remembered mom had dinner ready at this hour so I decided that it was time to logout .I pulled up the menu and scrolled to where the logout button was and didn't see it.

Maverick: The hell.......Am I looking in the wrong place or.....?

This is a pretty bad bug for the release of a game as big as this. I guess I'll have to contact dev support. I pulled up my menu and was suddenly transported to the center area of the Town of Beginnings. Yikes, there is a lot of people here.

Guy:Look up there!

Suddenly a giant cloaked guy appeared in front of us and everyone started to question it.

Guy:Is this an event?

Maverick:The hell is going on?

???:Attention, players. I welcome you to my world.

 Well, this is ominous.....

Guy:Wow,that's some entrance.....

Kayaba: I'm sure most of you noticed an item missing from your main menus, the log out button. Let me assure you this is not a defect in the game. I repeat this is NOT a defect. This is how "Sword Art Online" was designed to be. You cannot log yourselves out of SAO, and no one from outside will be able to shut down or remove the NerveGear from your head. If anyone attempts to do so, a transmitter inside the NerveGear will discharge a microwave signal into your skull, destroying your brain and ending your life.

I looked over in the crowd of people to see two people. One had longish black hair and a chiseled face as the other guy had a similar look to him only with shortish brown hair.
