Chapter 4 - A considerate Heart

The day after the incident...

Miyoko gives me advice to help clear the misunderstanding with the others.

The advice is simple.

Try being nice to everyone, according to her that's all that's required...

And apparently being sincere and honest...

This morning, I take out the garbage for the other Famille' residences...

(Doing something like this all of a sudden. Wouldn't it make the more suspicious of me?!)

Afterward....

"Huh? Did someone take out the garbage?" wondered Tegemi.

"I-I did....i had some time on my hands..."

Tegemi gives me an impressed look.

"Well...Mina, that was very considerate of you."

"And here I thought you were a wolf in sheep's clothing."

"Eh? I-its' not like that, Ms.Mikahara w-what happened before...."

She laughs mischievously.

"I know."

"Most likely, you two were fooling around innocently and fell off the bed, right?"

"Yes! Yes, that's what exactly happened!"

(I guess she knew from the start...)

"You two, are really close to each other, I'm kinda jealous."

"Huh?"

"No, it's nothing."

And then, she stares at my face intently.

"By the way, Mina."

"It was Miyoko's advice to take out the garbage, wasn't it?"

"Huh? H-how did you know that?"

"Let me guess, a plan to help you get along with the others?"

(Sh-she sees through everything!)

"Hehe...don't worry. I won't tell the other girls."

"Good luck on clearing your name to everyone who misunderstood you."

With those words, Tegemi leaves for work.

Calculating the right moment, Miyoko pops her head out.

"So? Did you take out the garbage?"

"Sh-she saw right through you plan, you know?"

"Well, she's not a CEO of a big company for nothing."

"She's the CEO?!"

"Well....she says she'll support it."

"That's good news, then."

(Though...is this really going to work?!)

Later in the afternoon...

"Kasumi drinks milk tea, Rei drinks apple tea, don't make a mistake."

Once again, following her advice, the plan is for me to bring drinks to the two as they study.

"Carrying drinks...it's like a part time job."

"A little consideration goes a long way, you know?"

"Come one. Trust me and try it out."

(after all you did, I'm finding it hard to do that, but I don't have a choice do i?)
