Peter Parker, Spider-Man one shots

The truth is hArd sometimes

The elevator opened and the avengers filed out into the living room to find Peter.

With Loki???

"Peter!" Tony yelled. "Get away from him!"

Peter looked to his father figure, confused.

"Why? He's awesome!"

"Because he tried taking over the world!"

"Everyone deserves a second chance." Peter retorted.

Loki smiled fondly at the boy.

"Well...he tried to kill us!" Steve argued next to Tony.

"Didn't you try to kill each other?" Peter asked.

The avengers inhaled through their teeth.

He wasn't wrong.

"Besides! He was totally mind controlled!"

The avengers stared at the innocent boy.

"Anyway, Loki was telling me a story before you rudely interrupted so, if you don't mind I'd like to hear the end." Peter said scooting closer to Loki on the couch.

"So then, I turned into a fish so I could hide from..." Loki continued.

The avengers sat down, suddenly interested in the story as well.

The drama filled story went on and on and Thor occasionally adding in things like

"It took forever to find him!"

"That was forever ago!"

And

"I looked gREAT in that wedding gown! You can't deny it!"

It ended with everyone realizing Loki wasn't as bad as they thought, and them heading to bed.

Peter was the last to leave.

He hugged Loki.

"Thank you Mr.Loki. I hope I see you tomorrow. You have to show me more magic tricks." Peter said into Loki's coat.

Loki almost cried on the spot. This little child was thanking him.

"I'll be here." Loki said and hugged him back.

"Oh come on brother! You never hug me!" Thor's pop tart muffled voice said from behind them.
