Shiro's POV

It's been a few days since the other blades left and Keith hasn't been doing good.

He's very quiet and barely comes out of his room. He only comes out to train and eat. I've seen him train and I honestly thinks he needs a break.

He's already above everyone's level. He's at level 18. The highest one we all have is level 11.

I can tell he's homesick but I dont know how to help him. Maybe I could ask Pidge.

"Paladins come to the to the meeting room (idk I forgot what it's called) Allura said over intercom.

I walk to the meeting room.

Everybody was here except for Keith.

Where is he?

Immediately as I thought of that Keith entered the room.

"Looks like someone took their sweet time." Allura says rudely.

"Sorry, I was training." He murmurs as he takes a seat beside Pidge.

"Whatever, anyways we're going on a mission to free some prisoners."

We finally went over the plan and got to our lions.

"You gonna be okay Keith?" I ask Keith.

"I'll be fine." He says in a monotone voice.

Time to go.

Once we got to the ship we split up. Hunk goes with Pidge to collect data,lance stays on guard and me and Keith free the prisoners.

Keith's POV

Me and Shiro go down separate halls to rescue the prisoners.

I run through the halls freeing everyone in sight until I hear a familiar voice.

"Goddamnit, this is gonna take me forever." I hear him say.

I run over to the cell.

"Seriously Matt how many times has this happend." I say.

Matt looks up. Once he saw me he smiles.

"Keith oh thank God I can finally be free...again." Matt sighs in relief.

I help him up.

"How did you get in this situation this time?" Leading him to my lion.

"Ehhhhh....I sneezed.."he admits.

I groan.

"Hey it isn't my FAULT that my body decided to get me captured!" He says dramatically.

"Technically it is." I say.

"You owe me me cuddles for saving your ass again."

Oops did I forget to mention he's sort of like my cuddle buddy?

You see,galra can't go to long without physical contact.

"Ugh fiinnnee." He groans.

"Oh yeah what are you wearing. Did the BOM get a new change of clothing?" Matt asks.

Oh I forgot to tell him.

"No it's just that..I'm a paladin of Voltron now." I say.

Instead of what he usually does,which is freaking out,he just smiles and Pat's me on the back.

"Good for you Keith."

"Uhh thanks I guess, now cmon let's get to my lion."

He nods as we run.

"Keith you got everyone?" Shiro says over the intercom.

"Yeah just getting to the lion now."

"Okay, everyone back to your lions." Shiro commands.

Once we got the lions we flew off.

"We're finally here." I say to Matt.

"Finally." Matt sighs.

We walk out with other prisoners as we get to my....team.

We chat a little bit till I heard Pidge's voice.

"Matt?" Matt looks up and gasps.

"Katie?"
