Ravensight's P.O.V

What was that? What happened on the beach? Is Luna okay? How did she do that? I thought as I paced back and forth on my ship's deck. My thoughts were as if they were the sea and someone had enraged Poseidon.

All I remember is hearing Luna's chilling voice telling me to head to the water. I thought it was because she knew their rings held the power of fire, and it would be weakened in the water. But I was so, so wrong. I had heard her scream and I thought a troop was in hiding, waiting for the right moment then attacked her. But the water had risen up in the form of a hand for a split second.

When the hand vanished, the troops did as well. From surprise I couldn't help but curse, then I saw Luna collapse. She was burning up and she looked absolutely drained. The two of us were so confused, in fact, I think Luna was far more confused than I. Out of worry for her sake, I had carried her to the ship. I heard the footsteps of someone following but I had paid no mind.

I now know the one who had followed me was a trooper named James Walker. He was a good man, in fact, he was one of the earliest people to get a ring in his tribe. "You seriously care about her," I heard James mumble. "Of course I do! If she dies, everyone on this ship dies!" I squawked at him. "It seems like something more than that... Do ya got a little crush for the dragon's adopted daughter...?" he teased and I felt heat begin to rush to my face.

"Oh my Sol... You do!" with his words, I growled. "I-I do not! I-I mean... The feelings will shrivel up and die soon anyway," this caused the trooper to quirk a brow. "So what's so interesting 'bout her?"

"J-Just... Agh. I don't know. She be so stubborn, she does what she wants, she knows how to be a leader. She be bold, she be brave... Even when she be petrified. She... She be so beautiful too! She be like a... Like a..." I rambled, my face burning. "Like a treasure, you cannot lose?" James finished my sentence and I tensed.

This be what happened to Aquafina! My realization struck me like lightning. He slowly drew distant from everyone else, he went on adventures with Grimoire more often... Then, he gave up on us. I was turning into him. I was going to leave my crew! "No! If anything, she's worthless to me! I'm only acting like this so then she won't whine and so then I won't be gutted like a deer!" I shouted and I saw James tense. Oh please don't tell me she be behind me... I thought as I slowly turned around.

Instead of her, I saw two people, they had strange similarities to Aquafina and Grimoire... "Maelstrom and Whirlpool? I thought ye'd be in China." I said, confused and yet startled at their appearances. "We heard that our sister was forced to leave home for her own safety," Maelstrom started, "So we decided to pay her a visit," Whirlpool finished. Yeesh... Twin minds... I shuddered. How could they read each other's minds...?

"And apparently there's no chance of her making friends here, so I guess we'll be staying," Whirlpool said, glaring softly at me. "Wh-What?! No! I'd just be saying that! I-I didn't mean it!" I squawked desperately and I heard James laugh from behind me. "Too bad, you're stuck with us now," Maelstrom huffed, walking into my quarters.

Unable to take it anymore, I walked to the Crow's Nest and began to climb. Anytime I was stressed, enraged, or just wanted to be alone, the nest was the place to go. When I got up to the nest I just sat down on the railing and I stared out into the vast ocean, watching the moon's reflection dance upon the waters.

"Wake up!" the sound of James's voice jolted me awake. The sun was stabbing into my pupils and I winced. "Luna's awake, she's not herself." his words instantly sprang alarm into my veins. "What do you mean?" I demanded, worry beginning to gnaw at my heart.

Is my Luna okay? I thought and I pushed it aside. There was no room for those silly feelings. Sliding down the Crow's Nest, I saw my crew was running around. As if I had given them strict orders. "What's going on?" I asked to anyone who would give time to answer. "I think Luna took your place of being captain..." James mumbled from behind me.

"Get your head out of the clouds you two!" I heard a woman's voice bark towards James and I. "Who in the name..." I started but I cut myself short. Luna was the one who said that. Her hair was in a beautiful braid and it appears as if she's given up on the straps of her overall. "Snoozers are losers, Ravensight. We're heading where I want to go. Understood?" she said in a demanding voice.

"O-Okay..." I stammered, even now, she was still able to make my heart quake and my face burn. That's when I realized it was official.

She was the treasure I could not dare to lose.
