28. Jealousy

It's a fiery lick in my insides
when I see you with someone else,
sharing the attention that's
supposed to be mine,

Mocking me, teething me,
laughing at how inadequate I am
to fulfill your needs,

For why else would you shower my share of love elsewhere?

Searched around I have for the name of this particular lick but I ended up empty handed afterall,
too lost in
the colloseum
with thousands alike.

And yet there was
nothing alike
between us,
for none of them
could sight this emotion
beyond the pangs of jealousy.

And I?

Beyond what was
rightfully mine.
