Chapter 34: True Colors

Sarah’s POV

I’m already inside my room but his lips still lingers on mine, I could still feel his touch.

If I will describe what I’m feeling, its guilt and pleasure rolled in one.

I could still remember very well my interview with Toni, few days before he arrived, “Kailangan talaga alam natin kung paano pag-ingatan ang sarili natin. Of course we are not perfect, tao rin tayo, mga babae rin tayo. Part of loving is being with that someone, iba talaga kapag kasama mo siya. Pero importante na matutunan mo yung self-control.”

Shocks... nasaan na yung self-control na sinasabi ko?

What we did is insane... We did it inside my house for Pete’s sake! Mommy and Daddy were just around the corner. Where did we got our guts to do it?

Maybe we just missed each other badly... But things like that should not happen again, I repeat to myself over and over.

‘The Voice Kids’ rehearsals

While I’m focused watching my two artists practice their numbers on stage, I was caught up when someone suddenly hugged me from the back and steal a kiss on my cheek. Based on his scent and his hairy and toned arms, I didn’t have to look back just to recognize him.

Ms. Garlic: Ang tamis naman... Uy Matt, thanks sa pakain (Sabay lapit nito sa amin).

Sarah: Nagdala ka ng food?

Matt: Ah.. yeah... My friend’s resto is just around the corner, so I bought some of their house pizza. (He said, downgrading his sweet gesture).

I kissed his cheek back and uttered thank you.

 

Ms. Garlic: Kaloka! Diabetes level na ang katamisan niyo ah.

 

While were having the conversation, we noticed that Lyca, one of my artist, stopped singing.

Sarah: Wait, Love... (Sabay punta kay Lyca)

Come here baby...

(Inaya ko muna itong bumaba sa stage, pati si Darren ay sumunod din at bumaba muna sa stage).

 

Sarah: Anong problema? (Mukhang nakasimangot kasi ito)

 

Lyca: Nagugutom na po ako Coach.

Matt: Sakto, may dala akong pizza, let’s eat!

Lyca: Boyfriend ka po ba ni Coach? Bakit ka po nangyayapos?

Dire-diretsong sabi nito na ikinatawa ng lahat. Nakakagulat talaga itong batang ito paminsan.
