Friday game!

-We had to do the halftime show pre-game, since it was the homecoming game. I was a little disappointed in how I did in the last song ;-;
-And then we formed a tunnel for the football players to run through
-The first half of the game dragged on for so long. Since we didn't have to go down at second quarter to warm up, we stayed in the stands and did stands dances.
-Finally after an agonizingly long half, it was finally halftime and we could go get food.
-It was also alumni night and there was a tent with food. And we ate there.
-And since it took so long to get there and back, they originally wanted us back at 1 minute left of halftime but then they said to go back when you finish eating. So I started to stall for a bit by taking long to eat cookies.
-The second half, while still long, seemed to go by faster. I felt less dead and I had more energy.
-And since it was also alumni night, there were band alumni there too. Some of the drum majors did some songs and they were cool even though I didn't know who any of them were.
-Our school has the homecoming tradition of snaking around the football field, usually at a slower than usual tempo. That's a thing.
-Our team beat their team by a lot.
