So here's a funny band camp story that happened on the last day of band camp.

As a bit of context, one of our guard captains last year just graduated. We have a new person with the same name as her. (Let's just say it's Emily for the sake of the story.)
While our coach was outside doing something (don't remember what), the rest of us made a summoning circle to try to summon Emily to band camp. Pickles and I started arranging flags in the shape of a pentagram. Then our coach told us to not make the pentagram so we made an E for "Emily" instead. The new "Emily" stood in the middle of the E, and I was nominated to be the priestess. The other guard people waved their swing flags around, Emily danced around the middle of the E, and I was told to chant something. All I could think of was OOGA CHAKA OOGA OOGA so that's what we started chanting. Our coach was probably concerned for us all.

Turns out Emily was already planning on coming to visit, and our coach didn't want to tell us at the time. Now I've tasked myself with learning Latin chants for the next time I get to be the priestess.
