Joseph opened his eyes again. He did not still know where he was. Tears came down to his ears.
"Are you okay?. You're awake?", a male voice called out. The man bought his face to Joseph's head side. He was an African dark skinned and elderly. He was wearing a sympathetic frown on his face. Joseph wanted to jump and run but the man held him back.
"Hey, don't push it. My daughter saw how beaten you were, nearly unconcious and close to death and so she brought you in. You've been out for two days. Although, you do heal quickly. If you like to eat, I will have food sent in for you but now, you need to sleep. Your eyes look heavy like you could still use some sleep". Joseph obeyed and closed his eyes again. He did not say a word. He was too hungry to do so but still he needed to rest. The thought of how he got there came back. He began to remember again.
