I continued to stare aimlessly at the sky. I thought I might here shouts of my name at some point, thinking Craig may have followed me. Just to tell me something.

It didn't happen.

Life isn't a romance.

I wasn't disappointed.

Or, at least, I tell myself I wasn't.

When I started on my way back, it was already fairly into the early hours of the morning and I had work again, so I just went straight to Tweak Bros, probably smelling terrible and definitely feeling terrible. And tired.

Once I got there, I got myself a black coffee and planned on sipping on it little by little throughout the day, but ended up chugging most of it in one gulp.

Too bad Karen isn't working today. I like talking to her at work.

The continued on pretty normal. One lady demanded I remake her coffee three times and then left without tipping. Three people spilled coffee and being the only person working, I had to clean it up.

The whole day I thought Craig might stop in. If he had something really important to tell me, he knew I was at work and he could find me.

But he didn't.

Of course he didn't.
