The thought of never
Seeing you
Again brings tears to my
Eyes, and
Even more so because
All of this
Was such a
Surprise.
Tears roll down
My cheeks
And so the rain from
The sky.
The score of moving
Memories
In my mind
Is so high.
The sound of your laughter
Echoes in my ears.
The dress that
You loved to wear, bring me close
To Tears.
We ran between the
Raindrops
And walked beneath
The sun.
Flying the kites and
Playing
In the park was
So fun.
Sad I'll be, you
Use to cry.
To comfort me anytime
There you will
Be on standby.
The pranks we pulled.
The movies
We watched.
The ice cream we
Shared.
The walks to the house.
These are the
Memories we made
Together.
I promise you I'll
Treasure them forever and
Ever.
The time came to
Say goodbye.
I'll never be able to say it,
Because loud
Is my cry.
Seeing your coffin
As white as
Snow.
A chill ran down me
making
My emotions overflow.
I ran to your coffin
Falling down
My knees.
Why did you take him?
I pleaded, bring him back, please!
The days rolled by
And turned
Into a year.
I'm standing at your
Grave
Holding a bouquet
Of your
Favourite flowers.
You may be long gone,
But you are
Still alive in my memories
And my heart.
Photos of you
Smiling
Are scattered on
My walls.
The sense that you are
With me,
As I walk through
The hall.
I haven't stopped
Crying
Since you went away.
I have asked
God
Time to time
Why couldn't you stay?
