(NIALLS POV)
5 minutes....3 minutes....1 minute....
"Ok guys I have to go." I said suddenly, bolting up from the floor where I had been laying as I stared at the clock.
"where ya going?" Liam asked, eyes narrowed.
"Umm out to lunch." I said, avoiding the fact that I was going to that lunch with an extremely attractive girl who happened to be my best friend.
"Well then we'll just join you!" Harry exclaimed.
"Umm no its alright." I told them hurriedly, making them shot me looks.
"okay.." I sighed in defeat,
"I'm going to see my best friend from Mullingar at McDonalds." Louis smiled.
"Oh cool. We wanna meet him, let's all go." I rolled my eyes before saying,
"It's her. Not him. My bestie's a girl." Zayn raised an eyebrow.
"Ohhhh it's Sapphire your talking about , hmm?" I had told them alllll about Saph, even that I liked her. I blushed, looking at the ground as I nodded slowly.
"Y-Yeah. Im gonna tell her that I like her as more than a friend." I confessed.
"GOOOOO NIALLLLLEERRR!" Louis screamed, practically bursting my eardrums.
"F*cking hell Lou! I need my ears!" I moaned at him as I ran out the door to meet the beautiful girl I liked.
(SAPPHIRES POV)
Will was in jail. For punching me. And apparently, he had got all mad and punched a bunch of jail guards too. So, he was gonna be locked up for a while. I felt a bit bad, but Courtney had made me feel better. "Bye!" I waved to her as I tried to exit the flat we shared.
"Oh no...where are you headed. I need to know first." I shrugged.
"McDonalds." I said.
"Ok." she said, satisfied. I smiled in relief and dashed away, hopping into my car (a slightly beat up Honda civic). I drove up to McDonalds, walking in to discover Niall already there. I grinned and slid into the seat across from him, smiling.
"Hey Ny." He grinned as I said his old nickname.
"Hi Saph. Before we order...I...I need to tell you something really important." my eyes widened a bit. Niall had put this 'important thing' in front of eating. Oh god, this had to be pretty damn important. Niall took a deep breath...and blurted out a string of words I could barely make out.
"What?" I asked, and he repeated them, each syllable making my heart race faster.
"I like you as more than a friend, Saph."
