Pylades: I'll take care of you.

Orestes: It's rotten work.

Pylades: Not to me. Not if it's you.

"Sora, are you okay?" Taehyung's voice rung in my ears as I gradually gained consciousness.

"Mm," I managed to make a sound to let him know that I was fine, even when my head was throbbing with pain.

I turned my head slowly to look at my surroundings and my eyes immediately widened as I realized I was in my room.

I heard faint sounds of people shouting outside and my heart began to race, threatening to jump out of my chest. I felt my hands starting to shake; I wanted to move and ask him how I got here, and what was going on, but my body felt paralyzed as my mind went crazy with thoughts.

"Shh," He pulled me close, gently rubbing my back. "Relax. I'm right here." He whispered against my ear.

"Mm, I- Wh-" I tried to speak, getting frustrated at my failed attempts.

"Shh, calm down." He whispered. "Everything's okay. Your mother is fine. I drove you here after you fainted."

Concern was spilling out of his eyes as he looked at me, gently cupping my face and stroking my cheek with his thumb.

"I thought I lost you there for a second. Don't you dare scare me like that ever again." He whispered, nuzzling his face in my neck.

I tried to speak again but eventually gave up as I realized I couldn't form words to apologize to him.

I hate making people I care about a part of my shitty life.

We stayed there for a few minutes in each other's embrace, listening to the sound of our steady heartbeats and soft breathing. When I had finally calmed down, I lifted my head up to look at him, using all the strength in my body to lift my hand and lightly brush his cheek.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I feel better." I finally spoke, almost not recognizing my own voice.

"Is- is dad home?" I barely whispered, my voice shaking as I tried to hold back the tears forming in my eyes.

I don't think I have the courage to see him.

Before he could speak, the door burst open and Jungkook, Jen, and Jimin walked in.

"Thank god you're up," Jungkook smiled as he came over to me, placing his palm on my forehead to check the temperature. "The fever is gone." He spoke, turning to look at Jen.

"Dude, you need to stop fainting like that." She furrowed her brows, rubbing circles on her temple.

"I'm sorry," I let out a chuckle.

"Are you okay, Sora?" Jimin enquired.

"I'm fine, thank you for asking." I smiled at him.

The sounds outside began to get louder and louder by the second, sending shivers down my spine. I had grown up listening to my parents' fight, and I knew exactly how it sounded.

"He's here, isn't he?" I asked.

"Sora, you don't need to see him. We can get you out through the back door." Jungkook spoke, coming closer to me.

"No," I spoke, my voice stern. I shook my head in disagreement, slowly getting up and propping my back against the pillow. I took a long breath, closing my eyes and making sure I was fully aware of the situation—I was going to talk to him, I needed to.
