yuta heard shuffling sounds outside his room and it was the reason why he woke up. screeching sounds caused by a table, heavy footsteps more like someone was running around the living room, and shouts. he dealt with the sunlight attacking him and removed the covers for him to stand up but before going out from his room he did some stretchings.

the japanese yawned, he planned to scold taeyong for being so loud early in the morning but that thought suddenly backed away as he saw his manager stumbling his way towards the kitchen. yuta held back from laughing at him and reminded himself that he is still mad at him.

❝okay, ouch.❞ taeyong hissed when he accidentally touched the wax from the candle. he looked up and then back down the cake he and jaehyun made.

yes, jaehyun came to taeyong's shared apartment with yuta early in the morning just to help him bake a cake. and now the korean went out to buy something that they forgot to buy.

taeyong washed his hands and immediately froze upon seeing a figure leaning by the kitchen counter.

the manager let out an awkward giggle, ❝y-yuta! you're up early?❞ which was not according to his plan. he wanted to hide himself in the corner and cry because his plan failed.

❝you were loud.❞ yuta approached the dinning table sat in one of the chairs, staring at the homemade cake.

taeyong cursed silently, maybe it was when taeyong reminded jaehyun what to buy. ❝you can go back to sleep—❞

❝i'm sorry?❞ yuta furrowed his eyes as he was trying to read what was written on the cake. ❝what's this?❞

his plan may have failed but it's never to late to say sorry. taeyong took a piece of paper from his sweatpants and gulped, trying to calm his breathing down and gave yuta a look before speaking what's written on the paper.

he opened his mouth and then closed it back again, and then finally opened it to speak, "yuta my friend, i'm very sorry. i'm sorry for choosing my job over you, i know it was wrong. you must be mad at me, very mad i bet. that's why i'm here to say sorry for being a disappointment. you trusted me so much and yet i broke it just like that. forgive me or not, i'm still going to be sorry until i die. i admit it was my fault this time. just so you know, i'm still here as your friend if ever you need me. and i promise to support you until the end."

yuta smiled while hearing taeyong's rap— wonderful speech. he even made an effort to say it in japanese. he mispronounced some words but yuta found it cute than funny.

❝cute.❞

taeyong's cheeks suddenly turned red, ❝i'm trying my best here to be sincere—❞

❝i forgive you.❞ yuta stood up from his place, hiding his right hand behind him while he was approaching to his manager.
