Attack of Mega Shredder

Mikey's POV

"N-No...Stop!" I whimpered, twisting and turning as sweat drenched my body.

It had me in its grasp, bringing me closer and closer to my death. I looked over at Leo, then back at Mega Shredder, fear taking over any thought I had.

"Stop! Please!" I yelled. I need to get away, I need to get away! I fell off my bed, still not awake. My nightmare drifted to my certain death that almost occurred earlier.

"AHHHHHHH!!!" I screamed as I was swallowed whole. My eyes widened as I saw acid down below me as I fell. I took in my surroundings, then stuck my kusarigama in the tissue of the stomach. I almost landed in the acid, but managed to save myself just in time. I landed on some sort of tissue platform, but whimpered as I saw something move in the acid.

"AHHH!!" I shouted as I bolted up into a sitting position, eyes wide and alert. I realized I was in my room, but my nightmare did little to calm my fears. Fast steps approached my door, looking to see Leo standing there with alarmed eyes. Seeing as I was on the floor, he rushed over to me and pulled me into his lap.

"What happened, Mikey? I thought you were in trouble..." Leo said softly to me. I shook my head, my eyes darting around my room as I breathed heavily. Leo seemed to understand what had happened. He picked me up and set me in bed, pulling the covers up until the end reached my chin.

Just as Leo was about to leave, I snatched his wrist with him letting out an "oof", and pulled him down on my bed, covering him with the blanket and snuggling into his plastron.

"Mikey, baby bro. What's wrong? Do you want to talk about it?" Leo asked me. I took in a deep breath and looked up at Leo. He looked worn out. He had bags under his eyes, and his forehead was laced with worry.

"What about you, Leo? What's the matter? C'mon, you can tell the old Mikester. I can keep secrets," I told him, wiggling my eyebrows. I watched several emotions flash through Leo's eyes. This made my mood change from playful to serious.

The wheels in Leo's head were turning, and he made his decision. "I-I.....I thought I was going to lose you. I.....I thought you were going to leave me....When I saw Mega Shredder "eat" you, so many emotions filled my mind. But, I couldn't control the rage, the guilt, the grief I felt.

I attacked him with everything I had. Then the others showed up. And man was I angry at them. Well, maybe not more at them but myself from not being able to keep you guys from danger," Leo whispered to me. I could tell there was more, but I didn't push it.

Actually, I cuddled more up to him, and smiled when I felt his arm wrap around my shell, and felt his quivering form against mine. It's been so long since he's cried in front of any of us. I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I'll never leave you, Leo. You're a pain in my butt, but you're the best Oniisan there is," I whispered in Leo's ear.

It's the end of a day,
It's time to settle down.
A lot of things have happened,

When Leo and I finished singing, Leo let out a chuckle, and we both stayed where we were, not wanting to let either one go. I could tell he was going to be up my butt for a while, but that didn't bother me. All I wanted right now, was to cuddle with my Oniisan, and let him know I wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. He was in here to comfort me, but I guess I was the one comforting him.
