Dean and Sam stand beside the impala, and Cas is waiting for them by the phone booth. "Cas, is that really you?" Dean asks her.
Cas gives a slight nod, "No. You're – you're dead" Sam cuts in.
"Yeah, I was. But then I..." She moves from the phone booth to stand in front of the brothers, "annoyed an ancient cosmic being so much that she sent me back"
Sam still stare at her shocked and in disbelief "I don't even know what to say"
"I do. Welcome home, love" Dean embraces Cas kissing her forehead, and then Sam hugs Cas.

"How long was I gone?" Castiel asks them.
"Too damn long" Dean nods.
"Where were you? In heaven?" Sam asks her confused.
"No. No, I was in the Empty" Castiel tells them, remembering back to it.
"Really?" Dean asks her, shocked.
"Apparently, it's where angels and demons go when they die" Castiel tells them.
"What was it like?" Sam asks her.
"Well, it's dark and...nothing" she gets flashbacks from her time there, "It's like...nothing. I was sleeping, and then I heard a voice that said my name, and I woke up. I though you...had done something"
"No, we...we didn't even think we could bring you back" Dean tells her, a little guilty for not trying to get her back.
"So who was it? Chuck – uh, God?" Sam corrects himself.
"No. No, he has no power in the Empty" she tells him.
"Well, then, who does?" Dean asks her. Castiel looks confused trying to figure out who had woken her up.
