All I see is darkness. How did I get here? I last remember fainting after James blew up. I look around. Looming above me is a massive beast. I start to shiver in fear. "Wh-what is that?" I ask absolutely nobody. "I AM YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE!" The beast says. I recognize that voice. "Sh-Shadow?" I say, much more confident in myself. "Yes. You remember me, don't you?" Shadow says, transforming into a humanoid form. His eyes are bloodred and gleaming with malice. "Yes, I do. I beat you, remember me?" I say, sounding extremely narcissistic. "Yes. I do." He says, his feet melting into shadow. Shadow slithers around me. "You seem strong." He says. I roll my eyes. "No, I'm not," I say. Shadow laughs. He goes back to his legs and walks over to me. Shadow lightly touches my chin, making me feel uncomfortable. I shudder. "How did you defeat me then?" He says, attempting a seductive voice. I slap him. "Seto helped me," I say. Shadow smiles. "No, he didn't. He just enhanced your power." Shadow says. I walk away. "I don't have time for this," I say, continuing to walk away from Shadow. "Fine, wake up to your weaker state. After all, you did expose the core of the Mother of All Lies. Expect to find many, many more evil cores lurking around your school." Shadow says. "Exactly how many?" I ask, wondering if Seto will detect them all. "Two more," Shadow says. "Goodbye, weakling. Remember, evil lurks anywhere, even in the closest people to you. Be prepared to betray any one of your friends." Shadow says.

The landscape lightens and I awake in my bed. "Charlie, you're awake," Seto says this as a statement, an acknowledgment. I nod. "Seto, I need you to start looking for evil," I say. Seto shrugs. "It's my day job." He says. I smirk. "I had a dream." Seto laughs. "'That all the little black boys, and all the little black girls will live in peace with all the little white boys, and all the little white girls.'?" He says. It's my turn to laugh now. "Prophetic," I say, smiling. Seto smiles back. We just stand there in absolute silence, smiling at each other. "Ok, what was your dream about." Seto's face turns serious suddenly. "Shadow told me that more evil 'cores' lie in my school," I say, feeling dumb. Seto just stares blankly. "Don't believe him. He's evil too, you do know that, right?" Seto says. I still wonder. What if there WERE more evil spirits in my school?
