I slowly drift into sleep.

I wake up in a dreamscape. The house is in flames, Charlie is lying, presumably dead, beside me. I spot a shadow smirking in the distance. "This is what you think my end goal is, is it not?" Shadow says, his tone light. I slowly start walking towards him at an unnoticeable pace. "The future I want for you is much worse." Shadow's voice lowers to a grim tone. It feels as if he is attempting to make me feel intimidated. He if failing, badly. I walk forward a small bit, just enough until Shadow notices. "What are you trying to do?" Shadow says, gliding forward. I shake my head and laugh. "Why do you need to know?" I say, grinning. I walk right up to Shadow. "You just made the biggest mistake of your life." He says, walking closer. Shadow engulfs me and I lose consciousness.
