It was an odd feeling when Roman returned.
He wasn't where he was supposed to be.
It wasn't as dark, it didn't look like endless forest.
It looked like Mystic Falls.
But no one was there.
"Confused?"
Roman spun around coming face to face with
Sheila Bennett once again.
"What do you think?"
He grinned at the witch who had a cold glare on her face.
"You wish to love a monster you'll be treated alongside a monster."
The woman hissed.
Roman laughed bitterly
"I don't love anyone anymore. Being dead has that effect on you."
Roman glared angrily.
"Not even Kai Parker?"
Roman's eyes widened at that name.
He went to question the witch when suddenly she'd disappeared.
"Kai!"
Roman began running down the street shouting the boys name.
"Kai! Kai!"
Roman didn't see sign of anybody anywhere.
It's a prison world, Roman realized.
Kai's prison world.
"Where would he be? Where would he be?"
Roman asked himself pulling at his curls.
That's when it hit Roman.
Pork Rinds.
Roman quickly ran to the nearest convenient store looking around.
"Kai?"
Roman called out pacing down the aisles.
"Hey angel."
There he was stuffing his face and leaning back in a pool chair.
Kai Parker.
"You've been here, this whole time?"
Roman asked laughing lightly, happy to see the boy.
"All alone."
Kai nodded tossing away the empty bag.
The dark haired boy stood up with a smile shaking his head.
"What are you doing here angel?"
"I died. Ran my mouth asking about where you were."
Kai snorted at that as Roman grinned.
"Here I am."
Kai smiled slowly grabbing Roman's hand, the siphon kissing him on the forehead warmly.
"Here you are."
