"Can you all shut up? For the love of God."
Roman groaned as he, Stefan, Damon, and Alaric all approached Kai's old house.
Which Roman of course had to drive to considering he lived there in 1994.
"What went up your ass and- oh wait."
"Oh ha, you're so funny Damon."
Roman glared annoyed.
"What's his problem?"
Alaric whispered.
He and Roman hadn't looked at each other much less spoke to one another.
"He's mad because he had to leave Enzo to help us with Kai."
Damon rolled his eyes.
"I haven't seen him in decades, forgive me if I want to spend time with him and not at my sociopathic ex's childhood home."
Roman stomped ahead of them.
"It's not here can we go home now?"
Stefan sighed like a child.
"It's here."
Roman glared at his twin.
"That's an empty field stupid."
"Your minds an empty field."
"That doesn't make any sense-"
"Oh my God it's like you two are seven years old again."
Damon took a deep breath giving the twins a fake smile.
"I came to this house everyday, it is here."
"Just because we don't see anything doesn't mean it doesn't exists."
Alaric spoke up.
"Not unlike Caroline's feelings for Stefan."
Damon smirked as Roman snorted.
"Hilarious. Keep them coming."
Stefan rolled his eyes.
Damon held up Ms. Cuddles, the stuffed bear that contained Bonnie's magic.
"Oh, no. Is Stefan feeling sensitive about ruining his friendship with Caroline? She really liked him, and he broke her heart."
Damon impersonated the bear making Roman hold back a chuckle, placing a comforting hand on his brother's shoulder.
"See, Stefan? Even the bear knew."
Alaric whispered with a serious face making Stefan groan in annoyance.
"I saw that from a mile away, and my brain's made of cotton."
"Give me this."
Stefan took the bear and punted it into the empty field.
Suddenly the Parker house appeared, Ms. Cuddles landing on the porch.
"I told you it was here."
The four walked onto the porch, Stefan ringing the doorbell.
"Anybody want to take a stab at how Bonnie's Teddy bear undid whatever was cloaking this place?"
Roman's twin asked them.
"He said without laughing."
Damon chimed in.
"Bonnie stored her magic inside the bear to keep it away from Malakai."
The three others looked at Roman with raised eyebrows.
"It's not that difficult to figure out."
Roman shrugged.
"Ever the brains you are little brother."
Damon grunted opening up the door.
"We can't go in."
Damon sighed standing in the doorway, having not been invited in.
"You two can't."
Roman grinned stepping inside the house with a smirk.
"Come on now, we don't have all day."
Roman's face dropped when he turned to Alaric, wordlessly entering the house.

"Jo lived here. There's a drawer inside full of stuff, newspaper articles about Jo's medical clamp, pictures of her as a kid, pictures of her as a teenager."
Alaric handed the photos to Damon as the four stood back outside the house.
"Hold, please. Rewind. That's Kai from planet 1994."
"Wait. Jo is his sister?"
The three looked at Roman who raised his eyebrows.
"Was I supposed to tell you all that?"
"Roman!"
"Okay, okay, I'm guessing 'Jo' is Josette.
She's Kai's twin, they had three younger siblings which Kai killed and two that Josette helped escape, their names were Luke and Olivia."
Roman told them quickly.
"And where were you when Kai was murdering his family?"
Alaric spoke directly to Roman for the first time.
Roman smirked taking a deadly step closer to Alaric.
"I was trying to convince Kai to let me kill his dear twin, however as we all know I failed to do so."
The three fell silent as they stared down Roman.
"Call me a monster all you want but I will not apologize for my actions nor will I ever try to justify them to any of you. If you don't mind I'll be in the car."
With that Roman stormed away from the house, Alaric, and from his siblings.

Roman didn't care about anything except getting back to Enzo as soon as possible.
