"Did you not hear me? Luke and Kai are going to merge!"
Damon exclaimed from the other side of the phone.
"I heard you very clearly Damon but there is no use in trying to stop it.
Kai will win. Kai always wins. Don't get involved."
With that Roman hung up the phone sighing as he fell back into bed.
"Do they call you every time there's a minor inconvenience?"
Enzo questioned as Roman laughed playfully pushing him away.
"Most of the time. I understand though, I'm the smartest vampire in this town."
Roman grinned arrogantly kissing Enzo shortly.
"If you say so love."
Enzo rolled his eyes standing up and throwing on a shirt.
"Where do we go from here?"
Roman asked wrapping his arms around Enzo's waist from behind.
"What do you mean gorgeous?"
Enzo smirked, raising an eyebrow in question.
"We finally have each other, so what else am I to do? There's absolutely nothing that could make my life anymore perfect then it is now."
Roman kissed the side of Enzo's neck bringing a bright smile to the English man.
"I can think of one thing darling."
Enzo grinned turning to face him.
"One day, when the times right, I'm going to ask you to be with me forever. Officially, that is."
Enzo chuckled pushing Roman's hair back.
"Is this a proposal my love?"
Roman whispered, his forehead pressed to Enzo's.
"This darling, is a promise."
