Richie and Eddie were wandering around a pet shop, peering into all the enclosures as adorable animals stare back up at them. They passed Hamsters, Gerbils, Chinchillas, and rabbits, both boys being mildly uninterested, until they came across the guinea pigs. Their eyes brightened and the sight of the tiny rodents as they scurried across the cages.
But one pig stuck out to them. A ginger, brown-eyed, small guinea Pig. She squeaked as Eddie went to stroke her soft fur, and they both just knew in that moment that she was the one that wanted to take home.
Richie went to a worker and asked to take her home. They bought her all the treats they could find, and bought the biggest cage possible. They named her Frances, Frances Kaspbrak. They took her home and looked after her like she was a queen, and she lived the best life any guinea pig could live in the Kaspbrak household.
My guinea Pig Fran died today, so I wrote this in memory of her. Rip Frances 🖤
