Lily loved animals and her favorite place as a child was the zoo, in fact, her house practically was one. There was the dog, Padfoot, three owls (a family one, one for Harry's work, and one was James'), Lily's cat, Albus' toad, and a fawn that Lily had rescued and nursed back to health
