*Mikey's POV*
it was boxing day and i felt really bad because i barely had any time to be on my phone so yesterday so only got to speak to jack briefly, i miss him so much.

Mikey❤️:hey love, sorry it was a short conversation yesterday we had a lot of family round, how are you? x
Jack💚:its all good, did you have a good day? and i'm good just miss you a lot🥺x
Mikey❤️:don't be sad i'll see you soon and yeah it was amazing yours? x
Jack💚:it was dead good, can you call, i want to hear your voice x
mikey❤️:of course just give me a minute to go upstairs x

*jack's POV*
i'm so glad mikey can call i miss him so much. my phone screen lights up as mikeys calling me, i answer instantly and he says "hey baby" and i almost break down into tears because i lied my christmas wasn't good at all and i just want to be with him, my family had come round and mikey had briefly texted me and then some of my more family friends started quizzing me about mikey and i didn't leave my room til they left

j:i-i just m-miss you so much a-and i just love you so much
m:jacky what's happened? you're never normally this sad when we're apart
j: i-i lied to you about my christmas it was horrible, my distant family were round and they said that i should break up with you because nobody like you would want me and that you're too good to me because i said you treat me like a prince and then they said i don't deserve to be treated like a prince and i don't deserve anyone's love and they said that you probably don't love me b-but i love you mikey, i love you so much
m:jack jack shhh calm down don't listen to them, i want you and you're the only one that i want, you're my best friend and my prince and i wouldn't have it any other way
j:but when i closed my eyes and tried to sleep you're the reason the only reason i couldn't i was worried that you don't really love me
m:hey jack i love you and i will always love you now when we get back to the house you're gonna give me the biggest hug ever and we're gonna spend the whole evening together and i'll show you how much i love you.

today was the day i was going to surprise jack, i got on a flight dead early to ireland and when i landed i texted his mum to make sure he was still asleep (it's 7:30am), when i got to his house his mum let me in and showed me to his bedroom i went into his room and put my stuff down and slowly lifted up his covers and got into his bed with him, he slowly stirred and i whispered in his ear "good morning love" he opened his eyes and his mouth fell open and he started crying and jumped on top of me engulfing me in a hug, "i love you" he whispered into my ear "thank you" "i love you too and anything for you" i replied
