Instead of the cry of protest that they expected, Anakin said nothing and smiled.

"That won't stop my lightning." Anakin called over his shoulder as the Jedi forced the cuffs on.

"They are force suppressants, you won't be able to use your sith lightning without the force, now can you?" replied on of the council members.

"Unluckily for you, I think I can." Retorted Anakin, as he once again got a gut feeling. It welcomed him and he lost himself in the raw power that was coursing through him. The warning was like the earthquake before the tsunami, like the trembling of the ground before the stampede of wild animals. White lightning escaped from his hands and sparks danced in the light. The lightning stuck the bonds that were meant to remove his force abilities. The now severed cuffs fell from him hands and lay dejectedly on the floor.

"Can't you feel that you 'all knowing' jedi masters, I'm not using the dark side!"

Anakin could feel raw power racing through his veins, burning his insides and overwhelming his small body. Everywhere hurt as he tried to push against the force that was trying to take over. It was too powerful for him and Anakin could barely hold onto the thin line that was his consciousness.

Let me in, I am the light side of the force, come into my arms my dear son.

The soothing voice of the man that he had dreamt about just a few minutes ago came again. Could it really be, am I still dreaming? Thought Anakin. Anakin wanted so hard to believe that he did have a father, that he would have someone to hold onto. But why did it hurt so much?

It hurts me too. You need to embrace the power, let it surge through you until you possess all that I have. I am the guardian of the force and I give myself to you. The fate of the galaxy lies on your shoulders. I miss my sweet desert flower, and I will join her soon. Good bye Anakin, I love you.

The power that pushed against him was let free as Anakin embraced his father, the guardian of the force. The force flooded into Anakin like he was a beacon. It was a tornado and Anakin were the eye. A living recreation of the force. The son of the guardian. The chosen one.

Anakin gracefully floated back onto the ground as his eyes stopped glowing white. He stumbled towards Qui Gon as his drifted into a blissful unconsciousness.

Instead of the bleak and much hated walls of the halls of healing, Anakin saw the concerned face of Qui Gon and Obi wan.

"How are you Anakin?" asked a concerned Qui Gon, who was barely containing his worry.

"Peachy, just peachy." Anakin replied as he tried to sit up. With a groan, he crashed back onto the bed feeling pain lace through his ribs.

"Did I break anything?" Asked Anakin, confused as to why his whole body ached as if it were pulled apart then assembled in a rush again.

After testing his strength, Anakin pulled his legs over the side of the bed and ignored the wave of nausea that hit him as he leaned forward. The dream or was it a vision came back to him and four words that his 'father' has said repeated in his mind like a broken record.

"My sweet desert flower" Anakin whispered as he felt the phrase bounces around in his head. It was so heart-wrenchingly familiar, but so far away. His mother, that's who the man in his dreams was referring to. Shmi, the only sentient being that could possibly flower in the harsh deserts of Tatooine.

Okay, I'm out. I had written about 8500 words before I published this story, so from now on, updates will be much slower. It's currently the summer holidays for me, so I'll be able to update more. Please hang with me, I'll try to write as much as possible.

Thanks for reading,

I gotta jet, catch ya later
