Overnight challenge- When a person stays roughly 24 hours in a closed establishment, usually recording the event, trying not to be caught doing so by staff, guards, or cameras.
"Are you still mad?" I ask Shawn as he comes out the bathroom wearing towel low on his waist.
"No not after that but I still need you to explain babe" he leans down kissing my forehead. "Don't" i shake my head.
"You didn't mind me calling you babe last night" he winks at me I get up rolling my eyes at him. "Get changed, we need to talk" I tell him trying to be stern.
"Okay baby girl" he hits my bum playfully.
After five minutes Shawn joined me on the sofa fully dressed. I passed him a mug of coffee and we sat for a few seconds.
"When you went home the last time you were here Jay and Romell came over. We started talking about how they didn't have a video so then one of them suggested an overnight Challenge at your house. I agreed because I thought we'd find you drinking and playing the guitar and of course we'd show you the video for consent to post it" I explain.
"So we broke in and hid, you came home with that girl and we stayed for literally twenty minutes. We raided your alcohol supply, well jay and Romell did. They were mad at you for what you did and they thought it would make me feel better"
"Why? Why would you need to feel better?" He asks.
I look down at my hands fiddling with my bracelet. "I liked you and I had to hear whatever you guys were doing. Anyway we left, we didn't take anything apart from the alcohol which I'll pay you back for. We got back here started drinking and smoking. It got to me so I had to make you jealous. I called you, I felt like a slut, I felt so dirty. After that day we got drunk again then the day after that until the alcohol finished then you showed up" I finally look up meeting his green eyes.
"I'm sorry for making you feel like that" he moves his hand and puts it over mine.
"I didn't meant to avoid you. I was genuinely busy and I had you on my mind all the time, so I slept with that other woman but it didn't work as I told you" he lets out a small chuckle.
"Maya I like you too. I really do, not just for the incredible sex but you in general. You have an amazing aura and you radiate joy. I'm sorry again for even coming here and shouting at you. Give me a chance, get to know me" he says gently.
"I have a rule we have to follow then" I say. "Anything" he nods.
"No sex for a while. Let's wait until we know each other, I don't care who knows about us to be honest I want it to be us, you get to know me and I'll get to you know you"
He nods slowly. "No sex, are you sure?" He asks.
"We have to be able to last. It's my only rule and it'll feel so much better when we finally do it" I smile moving closer to him.
"Are you my girl now Maya?" He asks. "Do you want me to be?" I ask with a grin.
"Yes" he nods leaning in to peck my lips. "I take back everything from last night, lets forget that night" he says against my lips.
"Me too" I nod leaning into him. "So what do we do now? I would take you right here, right now but that rule of yours" he runs his hands down my sides.
"We're going to watch a movie. Don't get any ideas" I move away grabbing the remote.
"Seriously Maya I'll follow your rule if it means you'll trust me" he kisses the top of my head. "You have to trust me too" I sigh sitting back into his arms.
