AS THE three sat, talking, Joyce walked in with Chief Hopper, making Icarus look up. "Hey." She said as she walked over. "Jonathan? Jesus, what.. what happened? What.." She stammered and Icarus looks behind him, at Callahn who stood up, "ma'am." He says and Icarus rolls his eyes.

"I'm fine." Jonathan said as Joyce looks at Officer Callahan. "Why is he wearing handcuffs?" She asked him as Icarus looked at her. "Well, your boy assaulted a police officer. That's why." He says making Icarus roll his eyes once more.

"Take them off."

"I'm afraid I cannot do that."

"Take them off!" Joyce raised her voice making Icarus look up. "You heard her. Take 'em off." Hopper said making Icarus smirk slightly as he looked down. "Chief, I get everyone's emotional here, but there's something you need to see." Powell said and Icarus looks at Jonathan. He already knew it was probably gonna be the stuff they got.

And he is right as Hopper set down a box with the supplies in it, "what is this?" Joyce said as she is looking inside the box, at the items. "Why don't you ask your son? We found it in his car." Hopper said as Icarus scoffed. "What?" Joyce says as she looks at Jonathan who looked up at Hopper to ask, "why are you going through my car?"

"Is that really the question you should be asking right now? I wanna see you in my office." He says and Icarus looks at Jonathan. "You won't believe me." The brunette simply said. "Why don't you give me a try?" Hopper asked him.

In Hopper's office, Joyce hands the photo back to Hopper as Jonathan nervously bites his nails while Icarus stared at the wall. "You say blood draws this thing?" Hopper spoke making Icarus look at him. "We don't know." Jonathan says.

"It's just a theory." Nancy explains. As Joyce and Jonathan spoke out in the hallway, Icarus looked at Nancy then looked away, at the ground.

As Hopper looked through binoculars, at Nancy's place that had men coming in and out, holding boxes. "I have to go home." Nancy said as they watched the scene unfold. "No, you can't." Hopper told her. "My mom.. my dad are there." Nancy said making Icarus look at her with worry. "They're gonna be okay." Hopper says in response.

Nancy walks away, determined to get home so Icarus rushed out but Hopper had already grabbed Nancy's arm. "Let go! Let go!" The girl shouted at him, but he doesn't as he looks at her, "hey! Listen to me. Listen to me. The last thing in the world we need is them knowing you're mixed up in all this." He said and Icarus holds the top of the car door. "Mike is over there!" The girl exclaimed.

"They haven't found him. Not yet, at least," he says then points to the helicopter in the sky and Nancy's jaw dropped. "For Mike?!" She exclaimed as Hopper pulls her over to the car. "Come on, get in the car." He says and Icarus lets her get in first then got in as well, the two adults looking back at them. "Look, we need to find them before they do. Do you have any idea where he might have gone?" Hopper asked him and Icarus looks at Nancy.

"No, I don't." She says. "I need you to think." Hopper said and Nancy looks down. "I don't know. We haven't talked a lot. I mean, lately.." She says then sighs so Icarus puts his hand on hers. "Is there any place that your.. your parents don't know about that he might go?" Joyce asked.

"I-I-I don't know." Nancy stuttered as Icarus looks at Jonathan who spoke next, "I might." The other three look at him as well. "What?" Hopper asked and Jonathan looks at the two adults in the front seats. "I don't know where he is, but I think I know how to ask him." He says and so Hopper drove off, after Jonathan tells him about the radios that the younger teens communicate with.

At the Byer's home, the group of five rushed in but then Nancy and Icarus both stop to look around. "Whoa," Nancy said at the many Christmas lights. "Cool, I love Christmas too." He says before they both follow the other three into what Icarus assumed was Will's bedroom.
