Lafayette's POV

(A/N: As I've said before, Laff does think in French but his POV has been translated haha)

I put down my phone and sighed.

"Hunkules?" I called out as I examined my beautiful, new diamond ring.

"Oui, mon amour?" Called back Hercules, and I swooned slightly. I was amazed that the man I loved was working so hard to learn the language I loved that was used in the country I loved.

"When do you think we should have the wedding?" I asked.

"In the summer, so we're technically not in high school anymore." He replied.

"Oui. Maybe... July 4th?" I asked.

"Why July 4th?" He answered my question with a question.

"Because of your freedom! Freedom for America, freedom for France!" I exclaimed.

Hercules laughed, and I swooned again, even though I heard his laugh everyday. It is just so exquisite. Everything about him is, really.

"Also, every year people will shoot off fireworks to commemorate our love!"

"Sure, July 4th it is!" He smiled.

"I will start on the invitees, mon amour! Merci!" I clapped my hands together in excitement.

"Invitations, mon amour." Replied Hercules, and I laughed and ran to the door of the room, so excited about the wedding I was going to start planning at once.

"Mon amour? Où allez-vous?" Hercules asked.

"I'm going to begin planning, mon amour! There are only about 5 months until the wedding, we need to start!"

Hercules laughed. "Ok, but can I at least get a kiss before you leave?" I grinned and ran back to kiss my boyfriend. No! My fiancé!

We began kissing and I was going to break apart but I kind of didn't want to stop. We kept kissing until Hercules began kissing my neck. I didn't stop him, he was actually the first to stop.

"I assume you don't want to do that right now?" He asked, smirking slightly.

"I do, I always do, but there are big plannings that need to happen!" I exclaimed.

He smiled genuinely at me.

"I must go, mon amor." I smiled back at him and he nodded understandingly, knowing I have always wanted to be a wedding planner.

"Au revoir!" We said at the same time as I finally got to get out of the room and to the cake shop, where I ended up talking to the head baker for 3 hours about wedding cakes before choosing the perfect one.

My wedding is going to be the most grand day of my life!

ALEXANDER'S POV

It was the day after our awkward conversation with Jefferson, Tuesday. I woke up and stretched.

I looked at my phone. It was 5:30 a.m. I had fallen asleep around 3:30. Oh well, I was wide awake now. I carefully rolled out of bed so I wouldn't wake up John. I had mastered getting carefully back in bed and breathing deeply like I was sleeping each morning around 7:30, close to when John usually wakes up. I felt a bit bad about lying, but writing was much more important than sleep.

I snuck over to the chaise lounge where my laptop was sitting on it, undisturbed. Of course it was, I had set it down there only 2 hours ago.

I continued writing my newest essay in my essay series, this one was about the major influence of the founding fathers on our current country. I had written 50 so far, this was my 51st. I'm not sure where I'll publish them, they are on a wide range of topics.
