"I just need to go to the bathroom," I said shoving Keyshawn out the way as he tried to keep me in the bed.

"Alright go, but come back." Going into the bathroom I walked slowly with the machine in my hand.

"That ass looks like it wanna get slapped." He said as I closed the door shaking my head. I hated this gown I was in. The whole back was open, and it made me itch all the time.

Coming back in the room I saw the television was on, and my aunt Tonya was up there.

"How did it feel when you got the call that your niece was missing? It's not something someone hears's every day?"The white lady smiled in my aunt's face like this was some form of entertainment.

"It was scary it's not something you hear every day. I'm glad she is safe, and receiving the care she needs right now."

"I know you haven't really been around them since your acting took off. What will be going on in the future for you, and being around your family?"

"My niece and my sister knows I'm putting all gigs on the side until I feel like I want to leave, and that my niece is perfectly safe.""So you guys are going to stick together?"

"Of course!

                                                                                                                                                                     "

"

Turning off the television with the remote I went back in the bed.

"Keyshawn I know you tired you were up all night talking to me. Go home, in a comfortable bed, and rest."

"I am when you're mom comes back. I don't want to leave you alone." Nodding at him, I laid my small body next to his, as they connected perfectly.

"My mom want's to speak to you." Widening my eyes I sat up hissing at the pain that I caused myself.

"Why? Now?" Smiling at my worried face, he shook his head laughing.

"She wants to make sure you good, and talk to the girl that had her sleep-deprived worried about her son."

Smiling I nodded my head allowing him to call her. I knew I looked crazy, but she would respect the fact that I had been through a lot.

Hearing the Facetime ring, I laid back, and waited for the screen to say 'connecting'.

"Hello?"

"Hey, mom. What you were doing?"

"I'm here cooking some food, so I don't have to order anything. What you want?"

"I was just checking up on you, plus I got Trinity here." He said turning the camera allowing me to see the beautiful brown skinned lady.

"Hi," I said waving, as she smiled at me.

"Hello! It's nice to meet the young lady my son has been going crazy over. How are you?"

"I'm good. Nothing is damaged thank God, but they are trying to drain all the chemicals, and drugs out my body."

"I'm sorry you had to deal with something like this so young, in general really. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask. Make sure Keyshawn give you my number. It was nice meeting you."

"Thank you, and I will have a good day." Handing back the phone I turned to lay on my side, as he finished up talking to her.

"Well look at you son. She ain't one of these Hispanic girls you love so very much." Shaking his head at her, he turned down the volume but I could still hear.

"Ma chill."

"No. I like her, keep her around. I need to go check on the food. I'll see you when you get home."

"Alright mom, love you."

"Love you too." The call had ended, and I saw him do something on his phone until mine dinged.

"Now you have her number. I'm glad she like you so far. You know I don't really let her meet anyone."

"Well, I'm honored to meet the Queen who raised my prince."

"Little girl I'ma King." Sucking my teeth he laughed before lightly tickling me. Kissing him, I pulled away when I heard the door open.

"Boy, I know you better get the fuck out the bed with my daughter." My dad's stern voice said as Keyshawn raised up slowly.

"Don't listen to him. We appreciate you staying with her overnight. I knew ya'll like each other." She said whispering the last part so my dad didn't hear.

Getting up he gave my mom a hug, as he gave my dad a handshake keeping it simple."I had plans to go to the studio later, but if you want-"

"Keyshawn go to the studio. Live your life bubba. Just make sure you call me okay? If I end up wanting company I'll ask my mom, dad, or one of our friends." Everyone was supposed to be coming to the hospital later anyway.

"Alright, I'll hit you later." Walking out my mom, and dad sat next to me. "I like him. He didn't jump up when I told him to, but he was respectful." Shaking my head at his weird logic, I never really understood what he wanted in a boy for me.

"Honestly Trinity talk to me. Do you need me to take you to therapy or do you think you're fine?" My mom asked me looking at me seriously.I honestly didn't know if I needed help or not. It was to the point that I knew I was somewhat fucked up but didn't know if I was ready to talk about it yet.

"I know I need to talk about it with someone. I just don't know if I'm ready." I said honestly as she shook her head."I think it's best if you go now baby girl because everything will just get worse. People get nightmares and stuff over this. They ending it up dealing with it all their life, when it can just be an unfortunate experience."

Not saying anything I guess he was right. Nodding my head they got the idea and moved on to another topic while I sounded out. My dad was never there for me that much. My mom and he separated, and I usually only saw him when it came to emergencies. Last time I saw him it was when my grandfather passed away, and I knew after this I wouldn't see him for a while again.
