" I want to take you somewhere first so come downstairs."

"We both have black parents, how you expect me to explain I'm going outside late like this especially with what just happened?" I questioned.

"Why don't you tell your mom you're coming with me. You know she loves me." I could hear him grinning through the phone as if that was something he held close to his heart.

I knew my mom loved him too, but after what just happened, she definitely didn't love him enough to trust him to protect me out at night.

She wouldn't trust anyone."I'll figure it out just stay outside." Hanging up the phone I put on some jeans, keeping my shirt on, threw on a pair of uggs, and put on my bubble coat.

Opening my door slowly, I made sure to try to not make noise. It was only nine o'clock, and I wasn't sure if everyone was sleep so I tiptoeing down the steps the darkness filled my eyes, making me hold on to the rail.

The stairs began to the creek as I cursed them out in my head going more slower now.Heading to the door I knew I was going to make it until I see a green light blink. Shaking my head, I knew they had installed a security system. I appreciated the fact that they cared, but I wanted to act like it didn't happen to get more protection.

"Where you think you going chile?'" I heard making my head whip in the voice's direction. "Uh.."

"Uh nothin', come here." Walking over to her, I headed in the living room where she was sitting down drinking what looked like tea and reading.

"You not going to tell anyone I'm trying to go out this late are you?" Staring at me she smacked her lips together shooing me off.

"I was young once. I know how this goes! You need to be careful especially at a time like this, give me your phone." She said with her hand out making me immediately go in my back pocket to retrieve it.

Putting in a few things after she asked for my password, she tapped her life away for about two minutes, as I tried to take a peek at what she was looking at.

"Now I can see where you at, at all tim-"

"Aunt-"

"Girl don't you cut me off, you lucky I'm letting you out. Your momma' would kill me. Are you going out with that boy? One who was with you almost every day at the hospital?"

"Yea Keyshawn," I stated as she smiled at me. "That boy a keeper, make sure you keep him. You can go, don't keep him waiting. I'll put in this code." She said as we both got up with her ahead of me so she could put in the password for the front door.

"Thank you, aunt Tonya. Love you!" I said cheesing as I walked out of the house seeing him standing in front of his car.

"Love you too." She said before I heard the door lightly close, as the code was reentered since she knew I would be coming in late.

"Who was that?" Keyshawn said immediately wrapping his arms around my waist, as I looked up at him.

"My aunt, she helped me out. She put a tracker on my phone though, to make sure I'm good." Pecking my lips, I smiled at how affectionate he was being with me.

"That's good. Let's go through, I don't want to keep you out for too long. I just want you to have some fun for a little." He stated as he opened the door for me.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked when he was inside the car, now driving too.

"You'll see, it's nothing serious. Just us chillin'" Looking at his grin, I didn't press it, as I began slightly excited that he was even out with me in public right now.
