Cara's P.O.V.

I made it to an empty dressing room stall. It was pretty spacious. Maple colored walls surrounded the room and on the left was a full-length vanity mirror with lights. A velvet colored upholstered bench sat opposite from the mirror.  Three black hooks hung across the curtains. It made no sense for them to have velvet curtains. Anyone could just open the curtains and walk in. They should have some kind of locks for better privacy.

What was taking Amanda so long? I told her to make a run for the dressing room. Did she get distracted? She better have not. Oh well, it didn't matter. As long as Jack didn't see me, then it was all good.

I jumped a little when someone slowly peeled the curtain back. I felt my heart pounding in fear until I saw Amanda's face. She strolled into the dressing room like she was a regular customer trying out clothes. In her hands was some type of black garter lingerie. I felt uncomfortable looking at it.

"Where the hell were you?" I whispered harshly.

"I saw this cute little outfit and had to get it," Amanda answered casually.

"There's nothing cute about it and it's not an outfit," I replied.

"You're right. It's more sexy than cute." Amanda appraised the lingerie with a look of approval.

She was not taking this situation seriously and I had to bite back my anger. Deep breaths Cara. Deep breaths.

"Anyways, it made sense to bring something into the dressing room," Amanda stated. "People might have other ideas if we were empty-handed."

My eyes widened in realization. "Smart thinking. I didn't think about that."

"Don't worry that pretty little head of yours. I got you," Amanda said with a grin.

"Oh...thank you." I cleared my throat uncomfortably as I cautiously peeked behind the curtain. "Did you see him when you were out there?"

"No," Amanda whispered.

I could feel Amanda's presence behind me.  She was a little too close.

"This is kind of exciting," Amanda remarked. "The sneaking around and hiding. I'm getting a little turned on."

My eyes widen in horror. "Please don't be that close to me."

"Relax Cara, I'm just teasing you," Amanda chuckled softly.

I turned my attention back to the store. I hated this place with a passion. Everywhere I looked, I saw something that I didn't want to see.

"He's there in the corner," Amanda whispered in my ear.  "By the lingerie."

She was pressed up against me. I became so stiff, that I forgot to breathe. I did my best to focus on where Jack was. He was browsing around the racks of lace lingerie, taking his time.  I needed him to freaking leave.

"Do you think he's into dressing up?" Amanda asked with a hint of amusement.

I quickly closed the curtains as I fought with my brain to not have any unwanted images. "Ew! Don't make me gag!" I maneuvered myself around Amanda.

"Some men are into that kind of stuff," Amanda said with an amused smirk.

"Don't put strange images in my head." I shook my head. I do not need any images of Jack in my head.

"You're adorable," Amanda giggled.

"Not adorable!" I pulled out a travel-sized bottle of hand sanitizer from my pocket and squirted some in my hands. I rubbed my hands vigorously, trying to distract myself.
