Cara P.O.V.

New rule, Jane and Amanda are never allowed in my room ever again. I kept self-cautiously pulling down the red dress Amanda made me wore. It kept rising up. She was evil. She licked her fingers and threatened to touch everything in my room if I did not wear the dress. She kept emphasizing how easy it was to take the dress off like that was a good thing.

I would never wear a dress like that in public. Her eyes were like a hawk. I don't know how she found the dress in my closet. It was hidden behind in the back because I never wore it.  During my freshman year of college, my friends pressured me into buying this slinky red dress with a pretty deep v-neck.

"I don't like this," I muttered as pulled my coat closer to my chest.

"You look hot," Amanda assured me. "If you weren't dating my sister, I would have pounced on you."

"How reassuring," I said sarcastically. Amanda also did my hair and makeup. When I saw myself, I felt like I was looking at a strange version of myself. For my hair, she gave me a side-part with curls at the end. My lips were painted dark red. She was really going for the red look because red equals hot to her.

We weaved our way through the backstage area of the fashion venue, looking for Hannah. I didn't think security was pretty good since they allowed us through. I assumed it was partially because Amanda blended well with the other models.

"Your outfit would be better if you had heels," Amanda said as she looked at my wedged pumps. "At least you have those."

"It makes no sense for me to have heels since I don't normally dress like this," I retorted. "You couldn't pay me enough to walk in them too."

Amanda rolled her eyes at me. "Where is she? Is that her!"

"That's your reflection," I stated in disbelief.

"And she looks mighty fine." Amanda blew a kiss at her own reflection.

"I regret com....." I stopped in my tracks when I saw Hannah. She was speaking with an older woman. The woman was the definition of elegance. Her dark hair was styled in a sleek bob and her royal purple dress amplified her features.

"Damn, that is one fine woman," Amanda stated as she eyed the woman with interest.

"I've never seen Hannah look so tense before," I muttered.

Amanda turned toward me and tilted her head in confusion before an epiphany appeared in her mind. "Snake!" She turned her attention back on the woman as her eyes narrowed into daggers.

"We don't know that yet," I said.

"Hold these." Amanda handed me the bouquet of roses I got for Hannah. "I'm going to rip her hair out."

"No!" I took a hold of Amanda's arm and pulled her back. "You don't want to cause a scene and embarrass Hannah."

"Oh right, well you go then." Amanda pushed me forward.

"Alone?" My eyes widened in horror.

"Yeah, go get your girl," Amanda encouraged. "Take off your coat. It's hiding the good stuff."

"What? No!" I clutched my chest defensively.

"Don't make me rip it off you," Amanda threatened. "You know I will."

"I...I like this coat," I stated.

Amanda held her hand out. "It's just a dress Cara, don't think too much about it. Let the girls be free."

I frowned at her response. There has to be a way for me to keep my coat on.  I could run away but if I run and Amanda chased after me then we would cause a huge scene. That would not look good for Hannah.
