Cara's P.O.V.

When we were together, it was like nothing else mattered. All the stress from life were forgotten. We were two people who didn't need anything but each other.

"Cara, you're going to kill me," Hannah said with a laugh.

I moved my head up and laid it against Hannah's thigh. "I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?"

My response got another laugh out of Hannah. She ran her fingers through my hair while I watched her in confusion. "You were perfect."

I couldn't help but blush at her words. I felt like she was just being the encouraging girlfriend. I still felt inadequate, but I listened well.

Hannah pulled me toward her and gave me a long, slow kiss.

"I don't think I would mind doing this all day," I stated.

A smirk appeared on Hannah's lips. "Should we?"

Hannah didn't have an assignment today and I was nearly finished with my new book. I could just have a day away from it and think of a good ending for it. Amanda finally went back to Los Angeles, so that we didn't have to worry about her interrupting us.

"It does sound like a good plan," I said. I stayed in Hannah's arms, kissing her again and again.

A musical chime sounded from my phone, shocking us. I turned and stared at my phone in horror. This wasn't any normal call. It was a video call from my Kakao app which meant it was coming from my mother.

"Change of plans." I slowly slid away from Hannah and covered myself with my blanket. I picked up my phone and stared at it for a few moments before silencing it.

"What was that?" Hannah stared at me in confusion.

"It's from my mom," I said. I couldn't help but stare at it for a few moments. Was this a sign?

"Oh...." Hannah looked away.

"I'll call her later." I placed my phone back on my nightstand as I laid back down on the bed.

"That was an interesting ring tone. It kind of sounded like a lullaby," Hannah mentioned.

"It's from the Kakao app which is kind of like the Korean Whats app," I answered, laying my head against Hannah's shoulder. I haven't spoken to my mother in the past week. We have mostly messaged each other. I wonder what she wanted to talk about.

"We should get up," Hannah stated as she made an attempt to get out of bed. before I stopped her.

"But it's still early. We can rest some more," I replied.  I did need a nap or some caffeine.

"Cara, it's almost noon," Hannah chuckled.

"Just stay a little while longer," I pleaded.

Hannah rolled her eyes as she laid back down on the bed. "What do you want for lunch?"

"Tea and tacos maybe?" I wasn't really hungry for anything in particular that I could think of. Tacos were just a good option because of how versatile they were.

"Tacos? You really can't get enough can you?" Hannah grinned at me.

"Of course. How can I anyone get sick of it," I answered in confusion. Who didn't like tacos?

Hannah giggled at my confusion as she wrapped me in a hug.  "Don't change." She kissed me on the cheek.

"Umm okay. Oh, I think I made a new friend."

"Who?" Hannah gave me a quizzical look.

"Fabio," I answered.

"Fabio?" Hannah stared at me in shock. "Where did you meet him?"
