The morning I saw you I knew that was it
The final piece of a puzzle that perfectly fit
Your smile washed away the black and grit
I couldn't tell you so my tongue I bitMy feelings held back by a dam made of fear
My heart would swell when you were near
I always believed you to be more than a peer
I give you a smile, as I wipe away my tearsYou gave me a try, maybe love was blind
You let me go, but you still remain so kind
Now you move on, and leave me behind
I truly believe that you are perfection definedYou'll always be more than just a memory
I wish that you could feel the same as me
I believed that we were really meant to be
Now I just think of you often and fondly
