Byeol's POV:

Heung Soo, Nam Soon and I was staring at each other as the class chattered around us.

I stiffened up when Heung Soo's eyes shifted to me after he finished staring at Nam Soon as his dark eyes stared right through me. "Class President. You indeed are living well," he spoke as he gave me a small smirk. "You like it?"

I don't know what to say back as I bit my lip nervously and glanced away from him.

Then Jung Ho and his friends strolled in as they walked toward their seats when they noticed Heung Soo.

"Wow, who's this?" Jung Ho questioned as I tightened my hands when I saw them crowding around Heung Soo's seat.

"Aigoo."

"He walked in here himself."

"Hey," then Jung Ho started patting on his chest. "Do you have some cigarettes?"

But Heung Soo pushed his hand away as he kept his eyes forward. "I quit smoking."

'Heung-Soo...how much did you change after I left?' I thought sadly.

"This bastard-."

"Quiet, quiet!" Then Teacher Uhm walked in, thankfully stopping the fire between Jung Ho and Heung Soo as he walked to the teacher desk. "Take a seat at your spot," Teacher Uhm ordered strictly but when he saw some of the students not moving. "Aren't you going to quickly sit down?"

Once everyone sat down. "Take a seat quietly and self-study. Got it?" He stated.

"Yes."

"Look at your answers. Got it?!" He then questioned loudly.

"...Yes." Goes the class.

I started working on my works but my mind kept going to Heung Soo as I occasionally glanced over to him during class.

•••

During the class, everyone was quiet, some was actually working while some was doing their own things secretly, like dozing off.

I silently copied down what Teacher Uhm's writing and watched as he finished and turned around to us. "No. 2," then he started calling out student's number. "No. 24. No. 36, come out and solve these problems."

"We don't have No.36 in our class." Min-Ki spoke.

"There is the transfer student," Teacher Uhm explained and I felt my eyes shifted to Heung Soo. "Gae Na Ri, Oh Jung Ho. Park Heung Soo. Come out."

Two of the called students got up, but I noticed Heung Soo stay in his seat as Teacher Uhm noticed it too. "Park Heung Soo, get up." He stated.

All of us watched as Heung Soo stood up, but he didn't moved to the front.

"Come out and solve it." Teacher Uhm said.

"I can't solve it." Heung Soo proclaimed and I felt myself becoming nervous when some of the students starting whispering.

"Come out and hold the chalk." Teacher Uhm said again.

"I don't know it." But Heung Soo kept denying his order.

"Are you defying me? Do you want to be held back here, too?" Teacher Uhm asked and the class began whispering loudly. "Quiet," but Teacher Uhm shut them up as he sternly looked at Heung Soo. "If you want to graduate..."

"So," then Heung Soo cut him off. "Don't provoke me."

I sighed out quietly as I resisted the urge to face-palm at his response.
