Desi:

Our one year anniversary was coming up, This was crazy, time has gone by so fast. Of course, Lin being Lin, he had a date planned already. He was always one step ahead of me. He also did that with his work, which was going incredible so far. He was working simultaneously with two companies. Danny, from his original company and Universal Island Records.

He was even getting recognized in the streets from his recently released music. We would go for a walk or on a date even, and he would get stopped for pictures or autographs.

According to both of his agencies, the plan was to release original songs here and then, and while he did that he would work on the musical. Almost seven months later, he still didn't have a title for the musical and he only finished one song which was the opening number.

But hey, can you blame the guy? It's so much hard work but with his mind I know he'll accomplish that and more. He would write non stop, all day, everyday. It was powerful to watch him reach for his goal more and more each day.

"You ready, babe?" I hear Lin shout from the bathroom, snapping me out of my daze. "Yeah, I'll meet you in the living room!" I respond. It was around ten am and the plan was to spend the day at the beach. We were planning to invite Layla and her friends as well but they were on a business trip.

Once I'm done getting ready, I grab my bag and my phone, and I make my way into the living room to meet Lin. "Looking good as always." I smirk and he laughs, "I could say the same thing about my beautiful girlfriend." He leans in to give me a quick kiss.

We get in the car and try to find parking near the beach. After a few minutes, we finally found somewhere to park so we got out of the car and marched into the beach, hand in hand.

"Thank God, I was getting so pale." I joke, and Lin chuckles. "You were getting so pale that you could have blended in with paper." Lin said sarcastically and I punched his arm. "Hey!" He pretended to be hurt, making me laugh even more. I loved when we teased each other, it was like we were back as teenagers.

We get some beach chairs and arrange them next to a tall palm. The weather was perfect, breezy and warm. We lay in the beach chairs and at first, we talked about Lin's proyect, the musical, and how he was already almost finishing the second song, but I stopped him because I didn't want him worrying about work. I just wanted him to relax. He's been under a lot of stress lately.

An hour had passed, and we were still tanning. Lin suddenly gets up, demanding that I do the same. I chuckle and stand up with him, and he suddenly does the unexpected. He grabs me by my waist and throws me over his shoulder.

"Holy fuck!" I laugh out loud. "What are you doing?!" I shriek and he laughs even more, throwing me onto the water carefully. I practically scream since it was so cold, and grab him by his shoulders so he could go under water with me.

As I make my way onto the surface, I find Lin still laughing. "You're such a ten year old!" I chuckle and he grabs me by my waist. "That's a very specific number, don't ya think?" He leans in even more close, and I roll my eyes playfully. Get you a man that makes you roll your eyes but immediately after, leaves a smile on your face. We kiss, being more in love with each other than ever.

After a while, we decide to go back to the beach chairs, since the water was getting too cold. We grabbed our towels, wrapping ourselves up so we wouldn't get sick or anything. A few moments later, I feel something come up to me and...bite my ankle?

I pull away immediately since it hurt a bit at first but not so much. Lin being the most cute but worrying boyfriend to ever exist on this planet, frantically asks if I was okay. I nodded reassuringly as I wonder what the hell bit me.

We look down at my beach chair and I see a dark brown gorgeous puppy. "Aww!" I coo, suddenly falling in love with this dog. "Oh my God," Lin laughs at the fact that this gorgeous puppy just bit my ankle. "He is so cute!" He also adds while gushing.

I look to see if he had a tag or something, but he didn't. Lin looks around as well, and sees nobody. "Is he a stray?" Lin asks, and I start petting the dog. "It seems he or she is," I say, not knowing where he came from.

"Babe, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Lin asks and I get the biggest smile on my face, thinking that he knew what I was thinking.
