Faith POV:

Jake runs around the living room, jumping off the couch and onto the coffee table, nearly knocking over my glass of red wine. Dan clasps his hands together, looking at Jake.

"Alright monkey, it's time for bed." He says, making Jake pout. I feel a little relieved, given that Jake has been so energetic all day long, even after running around the park for three hours. Dan takes him upstairs, leaving me to relax for a moment. I sift through the tv channels, before deciding I'd rather listen to music than thoughtless tv.

I walk up to our bedroom, pulling out my record box from under our window seat. I smile at my Gladys Knight & The Pips record, placing it on the turntable in the corner. Midnight Train to Georgia plays, making me sway while drinking my wine. I shut my eyes, just letting myself think about the music for a moment. I reopen my eyes, watching Dan leaning against the doorway, smiling at me. I stop swaying, watching him pout.

"I was enjoying that." He says, staggering toward me. He wraps his arms around me, swaying once more. I set my wine down, before resting my hands on his shoulders, leaning in and kissing him. He hums before I pull back. "God, I love you..." He releases under his breath, making me smile. His hands slide down my hips, making me blush a bit, before he unzips my jeans. I kick them off, laughing a bit as we stumble toward the bed. I lie on my back, while he quickly undresses. He crawls in bed over me, kissing my neck, before his kisses travel down to my chest. I run my fingers through his hair, before he starts, making me lean my head back. He continues to kiss my neck, as it feels better than it has in a while. I breathe deeply, listening to the record continue to play soulful hits. I grip onto his shoulders, before my phone starts to vibrate on the table. I ignore it, so caught up that I cannot be disturbed. After a moment, it ceases. Dan kisses in a way that tickles, making me start to cackle. "What?" He remarks with a smile, as I fall winded from laughing. He kisses my lips, smiling brightly down at me. He rests his thumb against the corner of my mouth, before kissing me again. My phone starts to vibrate again, causing my eyes to drift toward it. I can see Rob's name lit up across it. It disappears after a while, before Dan pulls back. He kisses my chest, before traveling down my stomach. I feeling his lips kiss the inside of my thigh, as my phone vibrates for a third time. "Jesus christ..." He remarks, looking toward my phone. I roll out of bed, grabbing my phone.

"I've gotta take this." I say, answering the phone and pinching it between my shoulder and ear as I grab a pair of sweats and slip them on.

"Babe, really?" Dan lets out, frustrated with the interruption. I leave the room, shutting the door behind me.

"Hello?" I release quietly, hearing Rob clear his throat on the other end of the line.

"Tim's gone." Rob says, making me freeze.

"What do you mean, Tim's gone?" I reply, my mind immediately jumping to the worst case scenario. I feel my palms grow clammy, before he speaks up.

"He left eight hours ago. His phone is off and I haven't heard from him all day. He took off after I asked him about the pills." He says, making me feel the slightest bit of relief. "I've looked all over for him, but haven't been able to find him. He was able to talk to you last night, so I figured maybe you could try reaching out." He adds, as I shut my eyes. I look back at our bedroom door, ready to say no.

A sharp pain hits my head, causing me to shut my eyes, feeling it throb violently. I squint as I reopen my eyes.

Tim stands in front of me, before cracking a bright, cockeyed smile. There's a gleam in his eye, which shines almost as bright as his smile. He reaches out for my hand, squeezing it, causing me to glance down. A bigger, brighter diamond rests on my finger, while a silver band rests on his.
