Chapter 1

This chapter is by far one of the longer ones, the story from here out will be roughly 2500-3k words, I know this is long but bear with me<3

chapter 1:

Kii-ea

Stars fill my view out my window. The number of them I can see from here is unfathomable compared to the small number of people I will soon rule over.

I begin to log.

"I have been watching the humans on earth for 10 years now, enjoying myself as I study the planet and its rich history it has to offer.

Most of what I learned is that humans and myself are mentally the same. We come from two completely different star systems and yet we have the same emotional depth and adaptation skills.

But that's just what I put as the official information.What I personally see in humanity is completely different. On earth I see companionship, love, exploration. But most important of all, friends."

"I really need some of those." I inform the empty room I occupy.

"I see hope. I see a place for not only my people, but myself to find happiness."

I press enter and upload my personal diary log onto the earth blog site, tumble. It is my favorite site on the internet. I have a personalized blog and lots of cats pictures.

My whole life I have been preparing to lead my people to a small water planet in the milky way system. I am the only royal heir available and soon I am to ascend the throne at the age of 20 years old.

That is only 6 months from now.

I remember when we finally entered Earths home galaxy 10 years ago. It so happens that the day we were finally able to use our satellite systems to connect with earths was also my 9th birthday. To say I was exited was an understatement. Best birthday present ever.

That year, my personal Ai, Vita, whom I refer to as V, taught me as much as she could on software engineering, information technology, and other things like programming and hacking our technology.

From then on everybirthday present of mine was some sort of earth satellite we picked up off of space exploration.

*flashback*

"Show me, show me!" I yelled as v entered my room with a sheet covered object.

"Ok! You have to be patient Kii-ea." She teased me a bit more before quickly removing the cloth.

"NO WAY!" I screamed! Jumping forward to inspect my 11 year birthday present.

"You got opportunity!" I ran to the earth mars rover V had managed to get for me.

"Your father helped me mark it as 'too important to disassemble' just so I could give it to you your highness." I hugged v. She smiles and hugged me back.

"Youre the best sister ever." I told her. That was the first day I made her cry.

For those next 5 years of my life I took apart and put opportunity back together at least 200 times. When I was 14 I Inserted Ai program into that old earth technology. That program alone took 2 years , but V helped.
