Chapter 20:

Earthdate 5-31-2250-210 a.d.d

Malaki p.o.v

"The call is directed to you, do you want to take the call alone?" Kii-ea asks me

"No, honestly I cant talk to him alone right now." My body is trembling slightly. Cookie grabs my hands to comfort me.

"You can do this. We just need to play along until I get evidence." I nod in agreement as she answers the call for me.

"Nathan." Kiki-ea deadpans.

"Well then, hello kii-ea.I would like to keep this short. I have some matters to discuss with my son." I scoot closer to kii-ea to show myself on screen.

"Alone." My father says. Kii-ea stays put, it only annoys my father more.

"I think you need a lesson on what alone mea-" Nathan begins

"Father I would rather kii-ea stay. As They are my new commanding officer I feel its only formal that they hear what is said." When I cut him off my fathers face morphs into bitter anger.

"You see my dear wife has fallen ill and I am going to throw a party to, well to be frank I'm sure she doesn't have much time. The woman has stopped eating." He huffs out.

"The treatments aren't working, and I want my dear wife to have one last hurrah to see her friends and family." My father continues.

"Nathan, with your permission I could try to treat her here?" Kiki-ea tells him.

"To have you kill my wife, no thank you!" He retorts back in an instant

"Father. Enough! Kii-ea has done so much for zed, the medical equipment here is far better than any of ours. You should hear kii-ea out. There's another doctor here too." I am biting my tongue to hold back my anger.

"NO MALAKI!" The volume of his voice shocked us both but he quickly composed himself.

"Anyway, the party is already arranged, I only called to inform you of your required attendance, as you are my child." He sneers.

"Tomorrow at 8 pm sharp, do bring a date that is not a male, will you? Someone you can possibly bring me a grandchild with would be nice." He cuts the line before I can yell back.

"Do you think your mom is ok?" Kiki-ea asks me.

"She will be once we smuggle her back here. Lets see if we can put this tunnel to use shall we?" Kii-ea answers with a nod of her head.

"Let's go meet with the evac crew and the guys. Well make a plan t get your mother here safely and secretly." Kiki-ea coms the crew she wants. Within 15 mins everyone including zed, lex and hendrix are back here discussing this new 'mission' to get my mother here and to snoop for evidence of my fathers obstruction of justice.

Time skip to next day
