Chapter 14: Wedding Announcement

Tuesday

Jacob's POV

I invited everyone over, after work so we could just have a day to hang out with each other. Yn got all dressed for this evening. She came down in this grey dress, with her curly short hair. She was really making me sprung. She was just too beautiful. Yn got everything set. She cooked whilst I cleared up the place, and I got changed too

Time flew by as Rico and Jasmine were the first ones to get here. I greeted them and so did Yn

Yn's POV

Jasmine and Rico were the first ones to get here. I greeted Jasmine with a hug but then when it came to Rico he's talking about

"What's going on?", he nodded

I just froze and turned round and lead Jasmine into kitchen with me. Jasmine realised it too and she gave the exact same look I gave him. We went into the kitchen and talked in there. 10 mins into our conversation there was another knock coming from the front door, which I'm assuming is, Keegan and Ashante. I went and opened the door and greeted them both. Jacob done the same, and I brought Ashante into the kitchen with us

Jacob's POV

We were just talking about work, and our partners. Keegan was just being Keegan. The guy is funny but too childish to be talking the way he talks. We talked and everything but then all of us came together in the same room

Yn's POV

I popped back into the kitchen for a drink, and Jasmine followed

"Oh, pour me a drink too, girl. I need one"

I laughed and poured her a glass. Rico then came in

"Oh, Did I interrupt yall or?...", He hesitated to come in

"Noo, babyy come...", Jasmine wrapped her arms round him and he done the same

I looked away, distracting myself like getting our drinks ready whilst them two were talking behind me amongst themselves. I heard a few smooches then Jasmine laughed. It was getting really awkward for me

I faked coughed, "Um... Jasmine. Here's your... drink...", I handed her the drink

"Thanks hunny...", and she sipped on it, "Oh, I'm sorry Yn but...", she laughed, "This drink is nassty! I got a drink in the car, I'm gonna go and get it", she said as she was leaving the kitchen

We both chuckled. It was just us two like just facing each other. There was no where else to look. He looked at me and then I turned round, facing the cupboard. I heard him open the kitchen door like he was about to leave

"Rico!... Can we talk...", I called nervously before he could even leave

I heard him sigh and close the door in. I turned round and he was stood there looking at me, blank and shrugged

"...look, I'm sorry about the other day. It was none of my business to ask what's going on with you and Jasmine"

"It's fine... I ain't phased about it", he shrugged

I nodded trying to compose myself and keep calm

"Do you want a drink?"

"Nah, I'm good thanks"

"Okay...", I said as he was just leaving, "Well...", I mumbled and he paused

"What?..."

"...Nothing", I said nervously

He chuckled and shook his head and closed the door behind him. I stood at the counter just drinking my drink and Jasmine comes in, with a bottle of Hennessy
