Chapter 37: Truth Comes Out

Yn's POV

Omg first of all I was not born yesterday. Second, that was just all types of weird back there and I could feel the tension but I'm not too sure why. It almost felt as if I was invisible for the majority of the time from when Jacob came over, and it wasn't just that either, it was how they were looking at each other. Something is up with them two and I can't put my finger on it. I'm gonna have to make him tell me what's going on since he didn't think to tell me from the jump. I can't deal with the secrets anymore, they destroy relationships to a different extent, I should know, I went through one

I was just watching how Jacob was reacting to all this, he looked annoyed-ish with a confused look on his face

"You alright baby?", he asked a little distracted looking over to Jasmine

"I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?", I said confused then he looked at me

He chuckled, "No reason, baby. No reason", and he pecked me and walked away nervously

I just went back over to my friends but I had my eye on Jacob

Rico and Jasmine pecked as he wrapped his arms round her as he was exchanging handshakes with the rest of the guys. He walked Jasmine into the living room, where everybody else was stood. Nico was talking with the guys until he saw Nina peeping over at him. They both use their eye contact to meet at another spot in the living room to talk. As for Angelina, she ignored Rakim's presence the whole time. Music was playing on the stereo, Donell Jones 'This luv' and everyone was having a good time talking whilst Rico took Jasmine to the centre of attention to dance with her. He spun her round and he pulled her against him as they both rocked side to side. No one except Keegan was paying attention to them two

"Rico, what are you doing?", she giggled

"I'm just having my last dance with my girlfriend that's soon going to be my wife if you say yes...", he held her tight

"Rico what are you talking about?...", she smiled

Meanwhile whilst Keegan was watching the two. He stopped Ashante in the middle of her sentence

"You didn't just interrupt..."

"Baby hush and look...", Keegan smiled at Rico and Yn. He got Ashante to face them as she was confused until Rico went down on one knee and Ashante gasped

Everybody else turned their heads Ashante gasped pretty loud and found Rico on his knee. Everybody was priceless. Especially Yn's reaction was shocked😳 He pulled out the engagement ring out his back pocket

"Jasmine baby, will you be my wife?"

Jasmine's POV

I can't into put into words how I feel right now. I have butterflies in my stomach right now, I'm so flattered and love him to death but I honestly don't know if I can do this. I'm already lying to him and for me to dig myself into a bigger situation than what I already got myself into like this is a huge risk. It wasn't helping either whilst everyone is waiting for me to reply. I felt a huge cloud of anxiety overpower me especially when the only one who stood out from everyone else looking was Jacob. I couldn't quite make out what he was trying to tell me but it was making me extra nervous. This is all too much, too overbearing. I felt the tears forcing itself to form in my eyes and I tried to them back but I really couldn't. All the ladies made 'aww-ing' noises and it annoyed me because that was just making everything I'm doing misleading, especially with the answer I'm about to give him. It was hard to look back at him and give him the answer he wouldn't expect to hear
