Chapter 13: Stranger in the Shadows

 As we walked into the office of the boss or whatever his name was I noticed that the room was decorated in a medieval style the opposite of the house in general. It was dark in here the only source of light came from a lap located on the desk of this boss guy, swords were on the wall while a knight suit was in the corner, in the center of the room was a giant desk and behind that was a giant book shelf with tons of books. The chair of the boss was turned towards the book shelf. I realized the smell all to late, it was a stinking mutt what was human like this one working for a mutt? Was this a plan to lure me in.

" Leave Mark" the mysterious man order than man I now knew was Mark

" Look I don't know who you are but I rather just leave I didn't know this was mutt territory" I told him as I turned to leave

" What happened to being the queen of the land and all that bull shit I didn't think you were a chicken" He smirked

" What a great first impression" I said rolling my eyes

" I could say the same about you" He said still not turning around to face me

" Why don't you turn around so we could discuss this face to face" I said smiling he was an intriguing person something about him made me want to keep talking to him

" No, I like things this way you don't see me I don't see you that way neither of us will get to attached" He said

" When have you ever heard of a queen leaving her castle" I said laughing. Then he did it he turned around when I saw him my jaw opened and it would not close. He was smoking out his midnight black eyes, his beautiful dark curls his smirk was the first thing I saw on his face.

" What are you?" I asked him

" If I told you, you might not believe me" He told me his smirk growing wider

" Go for it I am a vampire I am super natural" I said walking towards him

" Sit please" He said motioning to a chair

" Thank you now tell me what are you?" I asked him again

" I am what you leeches would call a mutt but that's not all I am I'm also an Angel not just because of my beautiful face but also because that's what my mother is she's a angel and my father a werewolf I know what you may thinking that I'm lying but I can prove it I know I don't get wings since I'm not a full angel but I can feel your emotions and not only that but your attached to me not by choice but angels have that effect on people even demons or children of the night" He said.

" I'm not saying I believe you but I'm not saying I don't believe you" I said smiling " By the wall all the crap about me attached hahaha don't confuse your feelings for my feelings and I'm a demon but I'm one sexy demon" I said smiling.

" If you say so lovely" He said smiling

" What's your name anyway because I'm not going to call you king or boss or master like everyone" I said smiling

" My names Angel" He said smiling

" Oh the irony of this situation your an angel names Angel" I said laughing

" I know but what can you do about it I didn't name myself" Angel says

" Well fine Angel I'll stay here for a couple of days then I'll be out of your hair" I said getting up and walking towards the door when I didn't fell anyone walking behind me I turned to see Angel still sitting in the chair.

" Hurry up and show me to my room you didn't expect me to know where my room was by myself did you?" I said opening the door and waited for Angel to hurry up

" You know for someone so short you are awfully bossy" Angel said nagging at me

" I know that's kind of why I'm a queen" I said following him as he started to walk towards a room

" By the way I'm thirty and I was promised a someone delicious I could sink my teeth how about that Mark guy he seems delicious and kind of hot and I look both things" I said winking at him

" You can't have Mark but I'm sure I kind find you someone else" Angel said opening a room. The room itself was a light blue with a giant white bed towards the top right corner of the room, as I walked into the room I saw the closet doors were mirrors I could see my reflection my hair was messy my clothes were wrinkled it was no wonder no one believed that I was a queen the. I looked like a hobo ahhhhh!

" I have to go shopping and use compulsion to get a some what decent outfit" I told him

" You don't have to the closet is full of clothes" He said before he closing the door. The closet was stocked with skirts, dresses, jeans, cute tops everything and anything I would need, I was only going to stay here tonight change clothes eat and then leave tomorrow no matter how sweet Angel was he was half a werewolf and like he had said before I was a leech and we're natural enemies just like Erik and I'm not willing to risk my freedom because of a mistake.
