Chapter 16: That One Night

Bere's Dream:

I ran far and long I was thirsty and scared I had never felt this way before I felt like I had been here before. I walked towards a dark the sound of the ocean I had no idea where I was walking towards it all seemed a little familiar but my mind couldn't process it. I turned around and I saw Angel he was walking towards me

" Angel where am I?" I asked

" This is your dream you tell me" He said smiling

" I don't know" I said finally reaching the edge of the beach where the forest was no longer forest but became sand and ocean. I could fell the nice cool sand in between my toes, I had always loved the beach ever since I was a little but no being a creature of the dark I could only come when the sun fell.

" It's beautiful" I said as I walked closer to the water my throat no longer ached with thirst and my body

" You could feel this way forever you know never having to feed off another for your own survival being able to walk on the beach during the day" He told me walking towards me

" How?" I asked

" Just tell me you'll stay here with me forever tell me you'll leave Erik and I'll give you what you want" He told me leaning closer to me grabbing my face between his hands. He leaned down to kiss me and my body felt like I had already lost the battle, he was inches away from my face I could smell his minty breath and it all came clashing down like the waves my mind started to process everything.

End of Dream

 I opened my eyes and Erik was looking at me with worried eyes

" Bere are you okay?" He asked

" No" I told him and I cried Erik wrapped his arms around me

" If I could take away the pain I would I would kiss every tear drop away but I don't know what's wrong" He told me

" Just kiss me" I told him I needed him I could no longer deny the desire I had for him his touch was addicting and I needed more and more until it consumed me. He obeyed and kissed me his lips were soft and he kissed me gently as if not to hurt me, I pulled him closer I need to loose myself in his embrace to let my fears of being hurt slip away even if it were for a couple of hours I needed to forget.

" I can't do this Bere" He whispered

" Why?" I said the tears coming back

" Tomorrow morning when you wake up you'll regret everything that may happen tonight and I don't think I'll be able to handle it" he told me

" I promise I won't I just need you more than I realized" I told him and that was the honest truth I never thought I could ever loose myself this much. With those words all his guard came down and he kissed me with so much passion I thought I would suddenly com bust into smoke. I poured everything I had into this kiss I leaned back onto the bed and pulled him with me.

" I love you" He told me and I answered before I could even think about it

" I love you too"

I woke up with kisses on my forehead I turned around and cuddled more into Erik

" Wake up I brought you a blood bag I know your thirsty" he said

" No 5 more minutes" I said pouting

" No you said 5 more minutes 5 minutes ago get up come on" He said laughing

" Fine I'm going" I said grabbing the blanket off the bed and walking towards the shower

" I'll be ready in a while I expect you take me to go feed off someone Angel won't let me do anything here pleeeaassseee"  I said putting my best pouty face

" Fine hurry up I'll go tell Angel our plans" He said walking towards me and kissing my forehead " Hurry up Princess"

" It's Queen never forget that" I said kissing his lips and turning away.

A/N: Sorry for the wait I thought I would have gotten better by now but I just got worse sorry for the spelling and grammar, sorry its not long but I really am super sick
