Marceline had far neglected her duty of awakening Bonnibel, the girl fast asleep in her arms. There she lay, Bonnibel resting her head on her chest, her stomach pressing against hers at the slightest intake of air, and her arms hung loosely at her waist. Marceline couldn't lie, she enjoyed the embrace she was enveloped in but couldn't help but feel the slightest bit guilty for falling asleep instead of awakening her like she promised. Oh well, atleast she was getting more rest than she admitted she needed. Studying is temporary, rest is mandatory, Bonnie seemed to mix them up a fair amount of times. It was great that she prepared herself for the obstacles that school had to offer, but locking yourself in the room every free chance you get to study seemed unbearable. Maybe that's why fate brought them together. A careless rebel invited to bring joy and festivities to the book worm. She snickered at the thought presented. Though it was saturday, there
was no time to be mucking about through the day in and out of a sleep limbo with Bonnie, there were things to be done. Marceline was quite considerate when trying to pry herself from the sloopy hold bit by bit. Removing arms from her waist, check. Untangling the intertwined legs, check. And finally, softly easing her chest in which Bonnie slept on as a pillow, and buckling from the bed. Now there she lay, fast asleep on the bed of Marceline with her mouth ajar, oozing whimpered snores. That imagine would be present in mind forever. She mentally face palmed. "Pull your self out the gutter." She grunted in her speech. There was no time for this, things had to be done and done right now, the first of them being a shower. There was no way Marceline would leaved the room smelling like wet dog and creek water, they would surely smell her comimg from a mile away. With one last regard to her sleeping companion, Marceline submerged into the tacky bathroom.

She sloshed a chunk of her wet hair back out of her view, her other hand yanking up the wisks of her skirt. Nothing more than 15 minutes was needed to bring light to her hygiene and she was out the shower faster than she got in. Dressed in her daily attire, Marceline quietly pushed open the bathroom door to the best of her ability and slipped out of the bathroom. The girl had expected for her friend to be slumped against the stiff material of her bed, but was almost thrown off guard at her sight. Bonnie sat fully awake on her bed, her legs crossed and eyes daring to skim her as if she'd been waiting awhile. If they weren't such friends, Marceline would suspect she was actually angered at her actions. With her eyes planted on her in such way, Marceline didn't dare utter a word, Bonnie beating her to the catch. "15 minutes or less I recall?" Spoke the girl, Marceline almost sinking on the spot. She couldn't help but jet her shoulders upwards with fret. "Bonnie Im sorry. I didn't mean to let you sleep in for that long." Bonnie sat silent with an eyebrow perched upwards. Marcy moved across the room and tugged her jacket in her hold. "Look, I know how important studying is to you, I apologise from my behalf and-" Bonnie could only sigh and shake her head. It took Marcy by daze when Bonnibel ushered to her feet, placing both hands on her shoulders and holding them still. "No need to ramble, I forgive you." Her eyes abated to her survey. "It's cool, I have all the time in the world to study. Its you im worried about." Marcy whined a wail, throwing her head back for further exaggeration. She already knew where this conversation was going. Bonnie made it clear that Marcy was obligated to study at least one time in the year. Yeah Marcy had successfully passed all her classes, but only with the peer assistance of Bonnibel. That and her final test score would determine her graduation. "Marcy don't even." Bonnibel scoffed, drawing her hands back to her side. She should have seen it coming. "Marcy, dude, you do relaize that we have two months of school left before summer?" It was very true indeed. The year had phased past her faster than she liked. Maybe it was due to her showing up late in the school year? Or that a friendship as such made the time wiz by faster than she could catch onto? She already knew one of which. "Marcyyyy." It was now her turn to moan out, seizing Marceline in her attempt to drown out her pleas. "Marcy if you fail these tests there's a chance you wont even graduate to the next grade level. We only have two more months left of school." Marceline furrowed her brows. Of course she would. She had done it her sophmore and freshamn year of highschool, so what was holding her back from doing it again? Maybe the fact that as they progressed in grade levels, the more they cracked down on test scores and grades. Well... Maybe she had no choice but to do so, but she wasn't gonna give up on pestering Bonnibel so easily. "What's so important about school anyways when I can just drop out and become a stripper, hm?" Bonnibel tried her best to disregard her words and hold her posture compatable, but a snicker whittled its way from the straight line of her mouth. Marcy chuckled along with her, raising her hands in surrender. "Alright, alright, I'll do the stupid studying. Only on one condition though." "And what is that I suppose?" Shs chimed. "We study while we smoke." Marceline shut her eyes and gave a childish gleam. Bonnie laughed. "Are you askin' me out on a study date Ms. Abadeer?" Her counter fit country accent impersonation filled her tone, earning a scoff and simple shrug from the other girl. "I guess you can say that then." Marcy complied with Bonnibel's request and crossed over to grip her worn out bag in hand. "We'll give me 10 minutes to freshen up, would you? I still smell like a creek." Marcy shot her an eye roll before nodding her head. Bonnie thanked her for her patience and retrieved a clean uniform set from her dresser, emergining into the steamed bathroom. Marceline sat waiting.
